Beneath Borromeo castle lies the greatest and most well-guarded hope for the Varden's victory. Placed in a set of passage ways that are constantly patrolled, the iron doors to the egg chamber are always flanked by two guards, and all applicants must swear an oath of fealty to the Varden in the Ancient Language before being allowed to enter. Once inside, one is faced by a room fashioned to look like a natural cave of warm, brown stone. The room is lit by dwarven lanterns hidden among the rock, providing a soft, blue light. Nestled together on the sandy floor lie the dragon eggs themselves, watched over by the crystalline Eldunari of Veroan. Although he almost never speaks to the applicants, he does watch intently, and with a sense of expectancy.
