Ra'Quden is my fire elf. He needs to be moving in the world, creating chaos and "Burning the world" So he has created (he says) or joined (what really happened) a mafia type organization. Here is a quick ch. like summary of it. If anybody wants to join, please contact me and I will be VERY happy to count you in.
Name: the Dicers. The name come from their unique habit of taking chances. And winning. it is said that they have extraordinary luck. Though nobody knows why that is. The name also derives from thier chant/password. "time to toss the dice." The name might also point to their past.
Age: Twenty years
Race: All. Or none. Depends on how you look at it
Allegiance: To the business. Nothing or no one else.
Who is in it: The Dicers is an organization that covers all levels of crime. At the lowest level are the scum of every city. Pickpockets. Thieves. Cheaters. Commonly called Mockers, because they mock the higher uppers. The next level is the murders, assassins. The third level are the extortionists. They slip their men into every corner of society. They are the strings to the puppet master. The fourth level are the spies. The Dicers are quite particular about their spies. At the fifth level are the masterminds. The schemers. The Planners, as the Dicers like to call them. The Planners think them selves separated from the rest of the pack. The Dicers think them to. The sixth level, is the Wheel. A close connected group of people who are in charge of little details. On the top seat, is the Dealer. The Wheel and the Dealer are explained more below.
The Dealer: Is the one responsible for the creation of the Dicers. It is in hot debate whether the Dealer is a He or a She. Nobody knows. Nobody has seen the Dealer before. The Dealer doesn't even speak to the Dicers. The Voice, a man with blue eyes, black hair, and a scar running from each eye to the corner of the mouth, says everything the Dealer tells him to do. Those who don't believe him, are punished severely. Then taken to a room. Two hours later, they emerge, obedient but unharmed. Nobody knows what happened there those that do. They won't talk about it. The Dealer also is not seen very often. When he does, spice and fragrance are always burning in the room. Those that use magic can no longer hold on to their power. A open window drives smoke into their eyes. Virtually, nobody sees the Dealer.
The Wheel: Is a powerful organization of masterminds and thinkers. They are the Dealer's cabinet as it were. The Dealer keeps these people separate from the pack. The Planners also are held in contempt by the Voice.
The Mockers: They hold up the bottom of the ladder, but are a vital vein in the operation. Any time money is involved, half goes to the top, half to the people responsible for the money. In the half that is taken up, one tenth of it is the Dealers, one tenth the Planners. The rest is for the whole operation. The rest of the Dicers will tease them how little they accomplish. The Mockers also outnumber the rest of the Dicers two to one, so the Dealer is nice to them.
Magic: Magic is held in awe throughout the Dicers. Magicians of any skill are immediately transported to training. There, a man, commonly called the Gray Cat, teaches them magic tricks. Nobody know who the Gray Cat is, he is quite the man. Rumors through the Dicers place the Gray Cat at the Voices level in their respect. Magicians can be found, once training is done, in all six levels of the Dicers.
In particular, one...spell you could call it, but a side effect that Dicers seem to feel, is their luck increasing. It is said, that when they toss dice, every single time, a winning number will appear. When sixes are needed, every......single.....time......a six will appear. Nobody knows why. The Mockers believe it to be a curse set in the beginning of their journey with the Dicers. Newbies seem to feel the effect more then people who stay there. The oldies don't need luck. They make their own.
Rules: No raping. Absolutely none. This seems to be then number one piece of evidence that the Dealer is a she. Still, evidence exists on the other side too.
Nobody begs, steals, or murders without a permit. Nobody. Flat out.
Respect the higher level above you.
Ra'Quden's role: He is in a really bad place with the Dealer. The Dealer doesn't kill him, but made him in charge of lesser Dicers. Instead of being harsh on them, he is quite nice to them. To be in
