Name:Andro Velderson
Age: 14
Race: Human (1/8 elven)
Appearance: Andro is a wiry young man with very fair skin. and curious eyes. They are a turquoise color which is incredibly rare and alludes to his mildly 'exotic' heritage. He stands at 5'5" and only weighs a few stones. His hair is straw colored and short, almost looks butchered, as if it was cut with a knife most recently.
He is not the most muscular youth. His body is well defined as he cannot escape the life of a man that works hard for the king of Surda. He possesses very little body hair to speak of and his hands are delicate as if he does not have to work roughly with his hands as many dof the men and youth do in Alagaesia at this time. His skin is pale as if he gets little sun. His ears oddly enough possess small points, not nearly as pronounced as those of his ancestral elven relatives who still live to this day. It is just a quirk that makes him stand out a small amount amongst the crowd and he frequently tries to cover them with his shortened hairstyle as much as possible.
He wears the clothes of a moderately well paid peasant . Generally he wears a blue or black tunic and leather leggings with a pair of well worn, yet fine, boots. on the middle finger of his right hand is a silver band that bears the inscription 'Eternal" in Dwarven. This used to belong to his mother, its brother ring, worn by his father lost in the battle of The Burning Plains.
Personality: Andro is a very bookish young man and rightly so. He is a very curious youth and thirsts for knowledge like few of his age. He is relatively quiet and shy, liking to keep to himself most of the time and simply read a book quietly off in a corner out of the way.
If one were able to get him to talk, they would find that he bombards people with a ton of questions. He is a bright boy attempting to learn as much as possible in his life. He has been born into a world of war that does not suit him very well in physicality but he does however harbor dreams and aspirations to be a hero. He sees Saphira and Eragon and dreams of being amongst the ranks of the Dragon riders.
He is also an amateur magician, possessing a small amount of magical knowledge , and capability and he rarely if ever uses uses it because it tires him as it would any one with such small aptitude. He only uses magic in the rarest or most mundane of tasks in the Libraries he calls home.
Being possessed of such grand aptitude and ability in the Academic fields, King Orrin enlisted him as a researcher and errand boy in his libraries and lab occasionally. Because of his time doing this he developed his quiet nature, ready to receive orders at a moments notice and with expediency.
As any great scholar, his greatest fear is loss of knowledge. He thinks up backup plans and failsafes to keep books and scrolls safe and treats them with the utmost respect and care in order to keep them intact.
He also possesses a what we would call photographic memory, and an encyclopedic knowledge and he counts himself lucky to have this capability. He began rewriting many of the works he has read up to this point in his life in order to keep them safe.
