These site has one problem. It is full of nice little ch. running about their miserable, boring lives. Even those who believe they are evil aren't really. This makes me sick. I have a Ch. Ra'Quden, who does not want power. Nor money. He wants to let this world burn. Picture the joker in the Dark knight. This is, loosely, the guy I made Ra'Quden to be. Course, one man can only do so much. So, here is the meat. I am looking for ch. who want to join a criminal chain. Ra'Quden is not the head of this chain, though it would be fun to be. Your ch. don't need to be always working for the lord either. Just the connection between the ch.s is what I am after. Maybe, if alot of people sign up, we can start a thread, like the founding of the chain. Heck, if anybody else has ideas, please, by all means reply. Oh, and, if people think this idea is good, i need a name, like the Mockers, or something. Reply

The primary flaw with characters like the Joker is that they are literally insane in their wish to watch 'the world burn'. Their madness is a virus that had spread to every facet of their being and every action they commit, plaguing the world around them and creating the ideal of evil. For most people who have been at this a while, you'll find arguments on various sides, stemming from all sorts of character biographies, that will tell you that evil is entirely subjective. Unless someone is playing a literal crazy person, which most people try not to just for the sake of having meaningful character developments aside from witty one-liners and cool killing scenes, the whole 'blindly evil' thing is impossible. Everyone has their own motivations, and to most, those motivations are the just and correct ones -- even if others don't agree. That said and keeping in mind that Maeve is visibly neutral to the bulk of the world's conflicts, I think she'd be a pretty good candidate for some organized crime, as I said in the c-box. Either as the crime lord herself – under various guises and names – or as someone higher up that can gain a lot of information. For her, it's all about what she can learn and know, as she takes the phrase 'knowledge is power' to it's definite upper levels. However, I'm not sure that's all you had in mind. It more sounds like you're looking for a bunch of rowdy street thugs as opposed to masterminds who weave the very world at their underground fingertips. The latter is what I'd be more interested in, as the best criminals have codes of their own. Also, I've been told that Emma has something like this already so we may want to talk with her.

Acually, organized crime is exactly what I had in mind. Ra'Quden wants the world to burn. He is quite insane. But what does that matter? It will gather resources. But that is besides the point. I has a Mafia type of society. Where both streetthugs and masterminds work under one roof, so to speak.
Lets see what I had in mind. There is a lord, who is in charge of everything. There are, as you suggested, two groups. One are the mean rabble, common around the world. They steal and kill everywhere the lord wants them to do. Then there is an upper level of people. Schemers and planners who mastermind plans of devilish qualities. Again, the lord is in charge. Then, maybe, there are those who are in the middle. Doing what ever the lord wants them to do. I have yet to cement Ra'Quden in the crimnal world, but he does not seek power. He want misery and torment inflicted on the world
If emm has a orginization already up, tell me or reply. Can I join? lol

Well, tbh, I wasn't planning on doing much with my criminal organization, which I call the Hive, on here. Nobody ever showed much interest in making that type of character so I've only got the one guy, Kieran, who's mid-ranking. However, Wild, I am making a very mafia-inspired organization very prominent on my Eragon site, though admittedly the site is taking quite a while to finish since I'm waiting for access to my hard drives. I'm also waiting on Form for the skin. XD -pokes Form- So, if you'd like to do something HUGE with the mafia then... ehh, I'll stop now since I'm basically advertising myself.
So since the whole criminal world is totally unmentioned in the books and because I've never seen anyone besides you and Form have any interest whatsoever, I never really mentioned any details for Erisdar, since I'm taking all that to my own site. And BECAUSE that's going to be a huge factor in my site, I'm uncomfortable with spreading it onto here. I control enough of the site already from plots to factions to character relations without suddenly bringing in a fully detailed layout of an entirely new organization. Exactly how big do you want to go with this? Do you want to make it sort of a side-plot or? I'm not even sure about joining because I overuse Kieran as it is. However, I'm not trying to put a damper on your idea, so... just tell me where it is you want to go with it. =)

Okay, i made it The Dicers are a group now. If anybody wants to join contact me. Hopefully, the Hive doesn't interfere with the Dicers. The Dealer wouldn't like that.
