Some people call me Phae but I would appreciate it if you would just call me Phaearalyn.
In my race, we age well, as I look around 24 but am actually 177 years old.
I have told you we age well; can you not guess? I am an elf.
Appearance: At a modest 5'9", our dearest Phaearalyn is made entirely of muscle, not an ounce of fat on her body (well, none she'd like to admit anyways). From the tip of her toes to the top of her head, she could be considered beautiful. She is, afterall, an elf. Her skin is paler than other races, but it's flawless, unblemished. Phaearalyn has curves in all the right places, which makes her a spectacle to look at. But then again, isn't most every female elf something to look at? Phae has her own uniqueness, however. Her skin could hardly be called tan, but it does have a warm honey like glow, something she's gotten from the sunrays filtering through trees. Besides her skin tone, there's other things about her. For instance. Her hair. It's midnight black, so black that it turns blue in earthlight, and a rarity; it's wavy. Thick and long, it comes down to her butt and can usually be seen down and free, surrounding her shoulders and face. Speaking of her face, she has a rather beautiful one, mind you. With lips so full and red you would think they were fake, they enclose straight white teeth and stand in a symmetrical facade consisting of a petite nose, shapely eyebrows, and two brown eyes framed by thick black lashes. The shape of her face is the common; angled, as is all her features.
Her body, though she does have long legs, is proportional, or at least it appears so. In her clothes, which would consist of mostly sturdy leather tops that carry down around her thighs and then some cloth pants and of course boots, her body is showed off, her muscled arms presented and how tiny waisted and curvy she is. Phaearalyn hardly wears anything nice, like a dress, a toga, or something of the likes. She sees no use in it; it doesn't ward off arrows and just gets in the way. Now, the way, Phaearlyn walks is not very different than most elves actually. Phae carries herself with dignity: head held high, eyes examining all, stride confident and graceful, fluid, but not thingyy and arrogant. Altogether, Phaearalyn is a creature who's very easy on the eyes. And if you don't believe me...just see her portrait: a gift given to her by an admirer. Another thing...her magic's purple.
Personality: Phaearalyn can never ever be stereotyped. Simply because she will prove every one of your theories wrong. Now, let me explain. Phaearalyn is her own person, and always has been. For instance, most elves lack suitable expression change. Phaearalyn's facade is extremely expressional. From sadness to fear to elation, it all passed through her facials. In fact, she's always been more in touch with her emotions than most and truly believes that knowing your emotions and still being able to control them makes you a stronger person. That in itself is something totally out of the norm for most elves. Aside from that, Phae is considerably hard to anger. She does have a good bit of patience, but it's not the patience that keeps her from getting furious; it's the fact that she sincerely tries to understand situations and has been known to give others a second chance even when others don't deserve it. She doesn't like to pity, but rather, compassion, the ability to understand a circumstance from all angles. Phaearalyn is also quite...humorous. She's never been afraid to crack a joke just to hear someone laugh.
Though she's not necessarily looking for a mate, per se, she does flirt. Charming, but it never has gotten very far because she has never had the motivation to let it. Phaearalyn is also incredibly loyal and has a definite sense of right and wrong and though she is....humanoid....she does try her best to chose the right path. But just like every unheavenly creature, Phae has her flaws. When angered, she can just be downright scary. She's the bitch you wouldn't even want to pay someone else to touch her with a ten foot pole. Phae, when angered, is the person you're just downright afraid to be around. It gets that bad. At these times, it's best to stay away from her because Phae is not at all afraid to throw the first punch...or draw the first sword. Also, when furious, she doesn't react as expected. She becomes distant, cold, closed off. You would see a blank slate for a face or the icy calculation of a trained killer.
Besides the practical flaws she does have, Phae is an intelligent, ambiant elf that anyone could be friends and admire.
History: ( I really have to make this short and sweet because I have no more muse after what happened today. Like hideously short.)
Born in the capital of the elven world, Ellesmara, Phaearalyn was born to two military officers. So, it was only natural that she too be in the military. From the time she was 13 on to now, she has been in and out of training to be kept sharp. She has since excelled in archery and swordsmanship. Phae has always been on the side of the Varden, being as her parents were with them. And not only because of that, but because Phaearalyn agrees with what they're fighting for. And because of this along with her skills, she has been used on many a mission.
That's been her life in a nutshell. If you've ever wondered why Phae is so uniquely personified it's because, once upon a time, she was in love with a human. That was some 113 years ago. She had met him on one of her missions and there was a bond, an instant connection. Though it was not looked well on, Phae defied the elves' social laws and married him. She was 64 and he was 22. They knew what they were going into, but they had no idea what would happen a scant year later. Handron was killed by the Ra'zac, brutally. Phaearalyn found him later, mutilated. It scarred her in more ways that one. To this day, she has yet to meet another she's been as attracted to. Because of this, when someone approaches the subject, she appears to have a very, very short temper.

She genuinely wasn't stupid. Not in any sense of the word. She wasn't even near antisocial anymore. When people came up to her, her face lit up with a warm smile and she happily introduced herself. Even being in a normal classroom with normal subjects taught wasn't a problem. Phaedra had never been one for being introverted. She was a born extrovert, though that had been seriously hindered by Jarren's hold on her life. But being in a classroom dealing with powers that were not marked normal or even minutely controlled disturbed Phae on a level that she nor anyone else could not even begin to convey in words. She was used to being on top in work. That was the reason she wasn't behind in her "normal" subjects, like maths and such. For an eighth grader, she had been taking several classes for high school students. Therefore, two years later, she was right where she should be.
And being behind, putting her in a situation where she'd not had experience before made her, well, nervous. Simply enough? That coupled with the anger and frustration she felt everyday. But she got an inkling of something good out of her emotions: when she was extremely angry, or happy, or frustrated, on the extreme side of an emotion, she could control the little things of her pyromancy. She could actually control when the flame will appear, where it will appear, how big it will be, and at what part of her body it will sprout from. Thus, her entire being, except for accessories, clothes, etc., were fireproof. And not only could she control her own flames (which were a deep blue by the way), but she could control the fire of any other thing. If it was inspired by fire or a man-induced fire, she could still control it.
She was still marvelling at her own abilities. Vanity? Heck no. Wonderment? Heck yes. But her sub-conscious kicked in and snapped her out of her trance. The distraction had calmed the anger in her. She felt normal now. Not even nervous. Crossing those shapely legs of hers, she looked around. Everynow and then she would catch a classmate throw her a nervous glance or a faintly worried one or even an openly curious one. She did her best to keep that smile on her face. But eventually, it did fade. She heaved a small sigh. This was going to be a long day. She caught the ends of Professor Nil's speech. Her bright eyes looked around. No one answered. No one even bothered to answer. Phaedra thought back. He was talking about control. She had heard the last part of the sentence, the bit about difference, fear and panic, anger and rage.
She didn't have to hear the question. She was smart enough. She figured it out. She raised her hand and then spoke, that voice heard clear as a bell. "Well, Professor Nil... fear is just an emotion and umbrellas a large range of actions and feelings. Very general. Panic is more specific. Panic is the feeling of uncontrollable fear which might very well induce horrible results. It's when one feels they cannot control what will happen to them. Anger...anger works the same way. Anger is a very broad concept of things: the heated emotion. Rage underlies anger in the means that it is brought to light by it, and it too is usually used to represent the unmanageable, unrepressible side of so dubbed, 'anger'. Clear enough for you...Professor."
At the end of her clearly precise answer, Phaedra raised her eyebrows at the man of a rather stark handsomeness that was her teacher. Normal for Phaedra was politeness with a temperatured touch. She was, afterall inclined to have a bit of spitfire. How ironic, is it not?
