Of course my rider was upset, as was I at this point. I was not going to let anything happen to her, but right now, I was pissed off and ready to kill for her. Right now, the person I wanted to kill, or for that matter, the people I wanted to kill, were going to be easy. I looked at Arwen before me and smiled at her for a moment before going into the skies and then going into the forest, to protect my girl. I knew that Arwen was not to happy about staying behind, but I needed her to. I had this feeling that Murtagh could get across to her. Yea, Arwen had had a tough life, but she did not have a father who was controlling. I had heard about Murtagh’s father… He was worse the Nayeli’s father, but I knew Murtagh could some how connect with her more then Arwen could at the moment. ”Fine. I'll stay. Though, I'm gonna make sure that I know what happened later on. Murtagh will spill everything later. I'll make sure of that.” I laughed, looking down at the ground for a moment. ”I am sure that Nayeli will tell you everything without having to be forces.”
I chuckled slightly, my deep dragon voice echoing in the skies. ”Rider or no rider, Nayeli is my best friend and it's MY job to help her if she's in trouble.” I let my ice blue eyes darken slightly, looking down towards the ground. ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- PylarI knew something that many young people did not know. Number one, Murtagh was a rider and nearly everyone knew about him and his father. Ever since he had gone to the Varden, word had gotten around about his own scar, which was given to him by his father. I knew about it, but then again, I was not sure that even Nayeli knew about it. I talked to her constantly and I would not be surprised if she performed the magic that she knew very little about. I was already ready for this, in my bag were herbs and also stones of energy to begin teaching her how to remove energy from her stones. Who ever had mad her swords had already placed a lot of energy into the stone. I was surprised by this, but at the same time, I did not mind at all. I had a feeling, but the form of these swords, that it was made by a slave elf, even though that disappointed me, I knew one day he would be free. I tried to get that out of my mind as I watched her take a bit out of the food. ”Pylar...this is delicious! You're amazing! Please make more for me?” I chuckled slightly, grabbing my bow and arrow from my bag before looking at the meat before me. I put the tools back down and looked at her for a moment. ”Why Murtagh and Nayeli eat, you can have the rest.” If there was anything left, I would return to the forest and hunt down something else for her. I did not mind. I knew sooner or later they would all need to speak without me around. I did not mind cooking. Nayeli was a good cook, but she knew how to only cook for herself and she was just learning about cooking for others. ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- I looked at Murtagh, my face was pale, I could feel that my cheeks were cold and my hands were shaking. I had this urge in me to use all the energy I had to blast that Convel away for good. But inside of me, something told me not to do such a thing. I knew that I wanted to, but I was trying to be as good as possible. I watched as he pulled his horse closer to my own and I glanced around for a moment, hearing a howl from the dog and then returning my eyes toward him as he touched my hand. ”If you really have to, just cry. It's better to let your emotions out than keep them in.” Ha! Maybe he could do that, I could not. I had to be strong, I had to show no weakness. I knew my anger towards my father was one, but soon enough, I would make sure he was out of my life. I already had my plan down. I knew my mother loved him, but it was time for her to be free of the cheating bastard too. ”He has no hold over you unless you let him. You are your own master. You're a rider. Not a mere human. A Rider, Nayeli! You shouldn't have to listen to him as much, for you are of a higher rank than he is.” I knew this was true, but he had my mother’s heart and I did love my mother. But with him saying that, it was true. The rider was the ultimate being in this world. It was time I used that power for myself and I did not mind using it at all. I looked up to see Osiris growling at Convel, my mind finally attaching to his own. ”Welcome back love.” I smiled at my brother for a moment, feeling his mind back in my own felt good. I looked at Murtagh for a moment and felt him touch my face for a moment. It felt nice, that touch, something I had never felt before. It was nice to feel something gentle, other then the harshness of this world. I wanted to cry, but as I calmed down, my determination came back and I have that sly smile that I was so fond of giving. ”Only one man commands me, and he has my oath!” I heard his voice deep inside the head of Osiris and I snapped my head towards the black back of my dragon. ”If you are to command me, you must be my lord! I have been assigned to die for your Rider if that is what it takes to protect her!” I listened for him for just a moment, taking in everything I had just heard from Murtagh and from this man. I was a rider, it was time I used this to my advantage. ”I receive nothing but the continued pallet in the stables and meal for this! In my experience, an extra sword, set of eyes, and set of ears is invaluable, no matter what you are doing! I have killed since I was ten, and each night, every man I have killed has haunted me.” Every man? Now, that was the advantage I needed. I had never been haunted by anyone, this right here was his weakness and I wanted to grab a hold of it all. ”I will not leave. I shall do my best to protect your Rider, going as far as to die for her, if that is what it takes. But never, NEVER tell me to leave when I have been ordered to protect something. If you wish to command me, kill Pravus and continue to let me sleep in the stables and eat, and you shall have my oath, as The MacTire, a man, and an Alban.” I looked at him through Osiris’ own eyes, my own were clouded slightly as I let my voice come from that of Osiris, or voice as one as he spoke to Convel. ”Here is where you knowledge runs dry… You may have a master, though stupid as he is and beyond mental help… But I am a rider and in this empire and even in the Varden government, the rider is the Ultimate being… You being here only bring me a new threat, because you are too stupid to stay with us.” I watched as Osiris let his tail fly towards the dog, hitting the tree beside the dog, though I was sure he was aiming for the dog and hoping to hit it. The tree snapped in half, the crackling sound of it did not cause me to shutter. ”You need to either get as far away from here as you can, or stay in the same clearing… Beside, you have only just shown your weakness by saying you are haunted… My rider, my sister, she has no remorse for each man she has killed, each face of the child that had watched their father die, she only smiled at them and went on her way.” It was the truth, I was haunted by no face, I laughed at them and it felt good. ”Nayeli. Look at me. I need you just to calm down. Is that alright?” I looked at him for a moment, allowing my eyes to set on Murtagh for a moment. Osiris took over, hitting another tree, allowing his tail to go right over Convel and hit the tree only inches from him. I knew that if he hit the man, his blood would only water these plants. ”You have my word… I am calm.” I smiled at him and then turned my eyes back to Convel. cause this is the real thing , love changes everything * ( THIS IS THE NIGHT WHEN EVERY HEART'S EXPLODING! ) Murtagh let out a sigh of relief before giving her a small smile. Yes. Mission complete! He let his hand drop from where he had been touching her cheek carefully and gently said, Alright then. I shall take your word as a Rider. his cool looking aura came back. Clearly, she was not acting like Arwen at all, which was a good thing. His grey eyes flickered towards the red haired man and back to the dragon. Well, at least the whole touching face part worked out well. She didn't slap me away, thank the gods. Murtagh was nearly running away in embarrassment after that whole touching like moment he had just had with Nayeli. He was not much of an emotion like person and he hated talking about emotions. It was Arwen who was usually emotional and who had made him more emotional during the past years. He could hear her screaming in his mind,
MURTAGH! WHERE ARE YOU AND IS NAYELI ALRIGHT?!
He shut his eyes, an annoyed like smile appeared on his face as he wanted to growl, but kept it in. Instead, he answered back with a snarl at Arwen, We're fine. Don't scream in my head. It gives me a headache. He could picture the girl's annoyance and shut his mind off from her. His attention was then drawn to Nayeli speaking. If Thorn was there, he would of killed this rat. Unfortunately, he wasn't here to do that. Everything she had said rang true and Murtagh found that he hated the red haired man more and more each time he saw him. His cold gray eyes narrowed at the alban man. If he didn't obey anymore, Murtagh swore he was going to use magic to knock him out and to keep him away from them. At least they wouldn't be bothered by that little nuisance. He made a mental note to tell Thorn about this man more, in order for the dragon to eat the man one day. Once she was done talking, he then gave her a small smile. Now we're all done with this, shall we go back to the camp now. Arwen is getting impatient and seems to be upset at the both of us.The dark haired girl growled angrily while staring at her piece of meat. Murtagh had cut her off. Bastard. She bit off a piece viciously while chewing it rather angrily. She growled under her breath, Stupid Murtagh. He's such a... She then realized that Pylar was still there. He was probably listening to her. Taking another chunk of meat off the meat she had in her hand, she chewed it quickly and swallowed it. Those two are missing out on this stuff. Are you going to go out hunting for more? If you are, mind if I tag along? I mean, sitting her and doing nothing is sort of boring... She gave a small eyeroll before sighing and taking another chunk off the meat. Licking her lips, she shoved the last piece of meat into her mouth. To Murtagh, she was a meat eating monster and was insane. Arwen didn't care. She was annoyed that she was getting bored and just eating meat by herself wasn't fun. UGWAHH. WHY ARE THEY TAKING SO LONG? Arwen got up and shouted up in the sky. She wasn't expecting anyone to answer, but she continued on anyways. It's all because of that stupid red headed bloke! Why did he have to tag along? WHY?! Next time I get the chance, I'm gonna slit his throat and kill him. I hate him as much as I have Pravus right now! Ugh, thinking about him makes me SICK. She ranted, fuming while pacing. She was aware that Pylar was probably watching her. Arwen didn't care. All she cared about was having her friend and brother back. Why? She didn't know! Arwen wanted Murtagh now! She wanted to hug him and kick him at the same time. What was wrong with her? Arwen knew she was just slightly insane. Well, crazy. Murtagh loved Arwen. Arwen loved Murtagh. It was simple like that. They weren't in love love but they stuck together because they were family. She understood that much. Her blue eyes softened slightly before she crumpled down on the dirt, feeling tired. Wrapping her arms around her knees, she buried her face into her knees. In almost a small whisper, she told Pylar. I miss him so much. Eragon, I mean. You know, he's my brother...right? I don't know. Not many people know. Afterall, I'm never included into any sort of story telling crap. she gave a laugh before looking back up. Her sea blue eyes stared at Pylar before cocking her head slightly, her black hair fell into her eyes gently. You're probably really old, aren't you Pylar? Are your relatives still alive now? They probably are. The girl was silent for a moment before randomly saying thoughtfully, You know what? Half elves don't get extended lives. We just happen to have the magic and strength of an elf, but we live as long as humans. Ha. I'm such a lucky girl, aren't I? I'm never going to live as long as my brothers. I'm going to get older and older each year and in the end, die before them. Sad, isn't it? She gave him a small mournful smile before looking back down. God, who knew she was so depressing? Shaking her head, she got up slowly and gave Pylar a smile. You know what? I'm actually not that hungry anymore. I'll leave it for Murtagh and Nayeli.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote] * NAYELI AND PHROST! TAG * OMG. NO IDEA?! WORD COUNT * justlikefalling @ caution 2.0! "Then she is not human, she is a cold-blooded whore, that will never find love, a friend, or companionship. I leave you to die a whore's death, alone, ignored, and pitied. Killing is not something to be proud of. A life is sacred, given to this world by the one God, meant to better this world and extend humanity. I do not sleep at night because those men had lives, souls, wives, children, friends, mothers, fathers, brothers, and sisters. They cry out in sorrow, their loved one gone, because I chose to take their life. If you cannot feel an ounce of human compassion, then whore, non-human, and soulless are what you are, and more. I feel pity that a lass such as yourself is destined to waste away, a cold whore." Convel spurred Donas into a gallop, with Rollo running beside them. Convel would journey to a spring in the mountains he had discovered several days ago, camp for the night, and then ride for the sea-shore. He might not be near his love's grave, but he could still shed tears for her at the point nearest it. Her long, shining curls, her wonderful whiskey-colored eyes, her intelligence, her ability to sew up his wounds and heal his bruises.
Convel'd always have a place in his heart for her. The lone warrior in a strange land that hated him for his language, dress, custom, everything about him, rode as fast Donas could run with tack and with Convel on him. He, Rollo, and Donas formed a small sphere of intelligence in a wild, untamed forest, ripe for the taming. Even as he reached the spring after hours of riding, Convel was still angry and confused. Why was he here? Did his God have a purpose for him here? Was he meant to start a new Clan MacTire, or die childless, young, and alone, an Alban where no Alban was meant to be? Convel's questions were endless, and the mountains and forest offered no answers as Convel slaked his thirst with the cool water, shaded by an ancient oak.
The blue of the mountains surrounded the lone man as the green of the forest rustled with life and wind and the wolf and horse sat quietly, watching the man as he listened to the birds, letting them alert him to any followers. A shrug, and he set about creating a snare for a rabbit from items in his sporran.
Comments: Issues with authority and angry is not great to be around when wrapped up in a man like Convel, so he just rides off into the sunset, steam coming out of his ears, a black cowboy hat on his head, and six-shooter on his hip. He's got bad guys to defeat in a duel at noon.

I glanced at Murtagh as he let out a sigh of relief. Osiris still stood before me, his huge body blocking most of my sight of the red headed man. I had let my voice ring out through Osiris and I felt Murtagh’s hand being removed from my own, though I was sad, I knew better then to show such emotion. ”Alright then. I shall take your word as a Rider.” I smiled at him for a moment and then returned my eyes back to Convel, who seemed a bit mad, but I was okay with that. I did not care, I was not going to be treated like a child anymore and I was going to get rid of the control my father had on me. I could tell that he was slightly embarrassed, but I had no idea why, the touch had been slightly soothing, but I was trying at the same time to ignore it. My feelings were getting the better of me and I did not like it much. ”You do need to be careful, Love.”
I saw the ice blue eyes of Osiris turn to look at me and I nodded to him. His voice had gotten deeper and he had taken on a kind of accent at the same time. The words rolled off his tongue so smoothly and gentle. I feel pity that a lass such as yourself is destined to waste away, a cold whore." I laughed at him. His training had no prepared him for death, like my own. Had had been taught that no man who was my enemy had a soul. I was not after their families, I was after the man or woman that had been placed on my list. I trotted my black war horse around to look at Convel, a smile played on my lips, the wicked smile that I had developed, as if looking at my next pray. ”Your training did not prepare you for death… Unlike mine, where we believe our next victim is nothing more then pray, like the animals we hunt… So, begone with you!” I laughed as he spurred his horse onwards and I smiled, watching as the overgrown rat and his pet went on their way. Osiris nudged my shoulder for a moment and I looked into his eyes with a gentle look. ”I feel the pain… But, I do not allow it to ruin my life each day.” He nodded to me and with his nose blew my hair around my face. I glanced back at Murtagh for a moment and looked at Osiris who backed away, the trees were tight around but he managed to open his wings and take to the skies again. I watched as a annoyed smile came to his face and I had a feeling that Arwen was driving him crazy. It was not hard to figure him out when it came to his annoyance of Arwen. I looked up at the sky for a moment and smiled as I saw Osiris flash by the moon. I then kicked on the war horse, taking off at a easy trot towards the camp ground, following the trail I had made with ease. I stopped not far from him though, glancing back over my shoulder with a cold glare towards where the red headed man had gone to. I was so happy he was gone, maybe he would stay gone, but if not, then Osiris would deal with him. If I was strong enough, I would have sent him flying back so long ago, but I was yet to be ready. ”Now we're all done with this, shall we go back to the camp now. Arwen is getting impatient and seems to be upset at the both of us.” I smiled at him and nodded for a moment, before giving a chuckle and going on towards the camp. Osiris had landed, he was allowing everything that was being said come towards me. ”Stupid Murtagh. He's such a...” I rolled my eyes, with a smile. She was crazy, but I was beginning to really like her more and more each day. I could not help but like her, she was so easy to like and it was something that came with it. ”She is not happy at all.” I said, looking over at Murtagh for a moment and then back ahead as I moved on towards the camp. I was surprised by how far I had gone, but when I saw nothing but red, I went further then I normally thought. ”Those two are missing out on this stuff. Are you going to go out hunting for more? If you are, mind if I tag along? I mean, sitting her and doing nothing is sort of boring...” She would not be doing nothing, I could not help but shake my head. There would be plenty of rabbit, mostly because Pylar ate only fruit and such, he did not eat meat and I had asked him why. He told me Elves did not eat meat, that they did not like taking a life, but he did for me because he knew I was not elf. He had told me that back when the dragon riders first came, that the elves were the only ones there, but then humans came and they were taught like the elves and many riders never ate meat again. I was surprised, but I did not plan on giving up meat unless I had to for a certain reason. ”UGWAHH. WHY ARE THEY TAKING SO LONG?” I smiled as Osiris rolled his eyes at her. I just listened in to his voice in my head. ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ”Oh, calm down Arwen, there is no need to get to hyper, they are on there way now.” My voice was still very calm and gentle. I had quickly changed from being harsh to that red headed rat and now I was a gentleman. He had pissed me off when he called Nayeli a ’whore’, but I knew her better then he did and I knew she had a heart that felt sore after the killing was done, but she did not linger on it for much longer then a day. It sounded like he held on to such agony, which was stupid. ”It's all because of that stupid red headed bloke! Why did he have to tag along? WHY?! Next time I get the chance, I'm gonna slit his throat and kill him. I hate him as much as I have Pravus right now! Ugh, thinking about him makes me SICK.” I chuckled slightly, looking at her before looking at Pylar who was sitting completely still. I did not know how he stayed so calm, even with that man there, he did nothing but do what he was asked and then returned and did not even get a ounce bit of angry at anything. I looked back at Arwen who was still pacing. I watched as she finally calmed down slightly and set down, Pylar set with his legs cross and a rock before him as he looked at it for a moment and then spoke words in the ancient language. I had watched him teach Nayeli and he did the same exercises at night and I wondered why. He just made it move around his hand for a moment and then let it settle back on the ground before him and looked at the flames. Arwen finally set down and I smiled, my body was situated right beside Nayeli’s tent, my legs set out in front of my and crossed. ”I miss him so much. Eragon, I mean. You know, he's my brother...right? I don't know. Not many people know. Afterall, I'm never included into any sort of story telling crap.” I had not known until recently and Pylar just nodded, listening to her for a moment. He smiled when she laughed. ”Sometimes, the best of stories are not completely and never are.” He always seemed to know the words to say and he spoke with such wisdom. ”You're probably really old, aren't you Pylar? Are your relatives still alive now? They probably are.” I could not help but chuckle, but I looked at Pylar. He nodded. ”I am old, but no, I am the last of my family blood line… Galbatorix attacked Silverwood Forest, my birth place…” I looked at him, feeling the same pain as he ran his finger over a silver ring with a purple stone. He seemed to keep that ring with him wherever he went. I wanted to say something, but just turned my ice blue eyes down for a moment. There was nothing to say, that was all I could say about it. ”You know what? Half elves don't get extended lives. We just happen to have the magic and strength of an elf, but we live as long as humans. Ha. I'm such a lucky girl, aren't I? I'm never going to live as long as my brothers. I'm going to get older and older each year and in the end, die before them. Sad, isn't it?” I had always thought half elves could live a bit longer then humans, but were still mortal. I guess it depended on what they got from their parents. ”You know what? I'm actually not that hungry anymore. I'll leave it for Murtagh and Nayeli.” ”Well, that was sweet of you,” I looked to Nayeli as she rode up. Pylar stood and took the horses and tied them back with the others. She was determined to do many things now, but then she looked at Murtagh and Arwen. ”Okay, before I forget… Why were we even sent here?” I was still completely confused at the same thing. We were told to come here and met someone and here we were and no one was here but Murtagh and Arwen… Along with Pylar and Nayeli. cause this is the real thing , love changes everything * ( THIS IS THE NIGHT WHEN EVERY HEART'S EXPLODING! ) That bastard. Murtagh wanted to snarl at the man for calling Nayeli a whore. She was no whore. Grinding his teeth together, he did he best to ignore the other man's comments. He gripped the horse's reins tightly, his nails dug into his hands. He felt pain. His grey eyes turned dark while looking darkly at the red haired man before turning his attention towards Nayeli who was as strong as he thought she was. She had said that this man was prey. It was true. To him, he was prey and to have him fight back so, it made the 'game' so much more fun to kill. A cruel looking smirk graced his lips while he looked coldly at the red haired man. Nayeli was kicking her horse into a trot. He followed her lead while silently following her horse. His dark mare snorted as he patted the dark mare gently. He rose a brow at her comment on Arwen. Rolling his eyes, he gave a grumble back. She gets impatient easily. Now you understand what I always have to deal with.
Meanwhile, back at the camp Arwen was nearly doing somersaults because she was that bored. She made a mental note to tell them that it was not such as smart idea to leave an assassin along with nothing to do. She was trained to do something, not sit around and wait for people! Well, technically...she was supposed to be patient but she didn't give a damn. She was antsy. She was a sort of girl who like to move. She heard Osiris's voice in her mind telling her to calm down. Hyper? She was not hyper! She was more on the lines of being bored to death! Not a joke, by the way. She felt so bored, she'd rather die than stay there doing nothing. Instead of saying her true feelings, she shouted.
GOOD. THEY'D BETTER BE COMING, OR I'LL GO TO THEM! she wasn't angry, but rather impatient. She stopped pacing and focused her attention back at Pylar who was playing with a rock. Using magic. She stared at the rock with a look of fascination. She loved using magic. Especially dark magic. She felt powerful when using it. The only problem was that she wasn't always so strong. She was a good at using magic, but only till a certain point. She wasn't as strong as Murtagh, obviously. She wasn't as strong as a Rider, another obvious thing. She nodded with wide blue eyes as she listened to him. She looked like she was hanging on to his every word. A bright smile grew on her face while she added, You're right! They just don't want to tell everyone that I'm better than Eragon! Of course! If I get added into the story, it would just steal Eragon's spotlight! Ha! I get it now!
Yes, Arwen was full of herself. She laughed, her face shone with amusement. It began to fade as he answered her next question. A look of pain crossed her pretty face as she murmured softly. Um...I'm sorry. Don't worry! You'll get your revenge soon! We're gonna bring that bastard down! as fast as she had looked sad, she then suddenly looked determined. She looked down at his hands which were touching the purple stone. Out of curiosity, she asked, What's that? I know it's a ring...but...um. Is it magic?
She turned at the sound of Nayeli's voice. She pretended to look angry as she loudly said, What took you so long?! I was so tempted to eat all of this! You're lucky that I'm feeling very full at the moment! She gave her a pout before grinning at her friend. She peered behind her to see Murtagh also come into her view. At this, she gave him a mock scowl while she skipped towards him. That's right. She skipped towards him, in more of a sisterly fashion. Murtagh! You said you were going to come back soon! she gave him a fake pout. He looked at her with a look of annoyance. Rolling his eyes, he calmly said, I said I'd be back soon. I didn't say when. That was when Arwen snapped at him. You SHUT me out of your mind, you... she was cut off with Murtagh rolling his eyes again and patting her on the head. Mousing her hair up with a sigh, he looked at her with a smirk on his face.
Don't be so noisy next time then. Besides, It honestly wasn't all that long. She gave him a glare before walking closer to him, hugging him at the side. He wrapped an arm around her waist, leading her towards the fire. He rose a brow at the left over meat. She shrugged and quietly said with a snicker, Wasn't feeling that hungry. He silently looked at her with a look of disbelief. Another sigh. A pair of blue obrs glared at him while she added, What? It's true! Besides, if I ate all of there wouldn't be enough for Nayeli. She needs to eat too! Plyar's cooking is really good. she looked thoughtfully at him while he let a small grin cross his hard features. She smiled back up at him. The two of them turned at Nayeli's voice.
We're here because I wanted to do something. I thought about the Spine because I grew up near here. I just dragged him along with me. Murtagh gave a nod before he rolled his eyes and added, We were going to go back to her home village but someone...he gave a glare towards Arwen who pretended that she didn't notice. He continue on, ...decided to get lost. I was planning just to go back to the castle, but she wanted to stay and do stuff. Arwen piped up with a smile on her face, Like, shopping! I need some new tunics and some dresses. My dresses are getting sort of old... she trailed off while Murtagh stared at her. He looked at her like she was some sort of crazy woman. Arwen...you do realize that you bought those dresses only a month ago...right? The girl looked up and blinked at him.
Really? Oh well. I like dresses.
She shrugged with a lazy smile on her face. Murtagh felt like he wanted to face palm himself, but kept it with a sigh. His eyes flickered over towards Nayeli before asking, in a more curious tone, Are you on a mission? I figured that the reason why you were out here was because you were sent out to do something for the king. Arwen blinked. A small realization hit her as she looked over at Osiris and asked in his mind,
Are you guys here to meet someone from the Varden?

Damn, damn, and damn again! If she wound up dead in this forest, he'd be the one at fault, his head would be forfeit, and he'd lose the straw on the ground in the stables! That wouldn't do at all. Groaning, Convel stood up from where he had been trying to sleep and saddled Donas. They had a hard ride ahead of them. After extinguishing his fire, Convel swung into the saddle and they started, the mountains looming over the man, horse, and wolf as they moved through the forest.
Arriving about ten minutes from the clearing, Convel dismounted and circled to where he'd be downwind. By a large tree, an inviting pile of leaves beckoned to him to hide his red hair. Crawling into it like a snake, Convel tried to make as little noise as possible. They were discussing what they were here for. Convel had no clue, but was starting to regret calling Nayeli a whore. He should have acted like what he was; a gentleman, the entire time. He petted Rollo, who was lying on the ground gnawing at a tree branch. Now to wait, while staying hidden and not pissing anyone off. Not to hard. Unless Rollo decided to go dragon-hunting.

It was not like I was surprised by the name calling, it honestly made my laugh slightly, since I was so use to arrogant Soldiers telling me the same thing when I nearly came close to kill them. It just showed me that Convel was no more then a arrogant, stupid Soldier, which was normal for this forsaken empire. I looked around at Murtagh for a moment and saw him gritting his teeth and smiled. Was he getting mad? Maybe he was more protective then I thought. ”Nayeli…”
I looked at Osiris’ bright blue eyes for a moment, a sly smile coming to my face. ”Your mind is full of crazy ideas, now throw them out your killer mind, Love.” I nodded slightly to him, but other then that, I didn’t do anything, glancing at Murtagh who’s eyes showed the darkness of anger and I let my lips form a smile. I saw a smile come to his lips also and then watched as the man left, which made me smile slightly. The war horse went into a tight circle at a trot before going on with Murtagh towards the came. ”She gets impatient easily. Now you understand what I always have to deal with.” I smiled slightly and looked up to the sky as Osiris flew right over head. ”Osiris agrees,” My words held more of a spark in them now, I was no longer mad, but determined, I was ready for a fight now, I wanted a fight. It was funny how sometimes I wanted a fight and other times, I just wanted a peaceful argument, if a argument could be called peaceful. I wondered what Arwen was doing, though it really did not matter much, she would be fine, that much could be said. She could wait, at least for a few minutes. ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- I really did not understand Arwen and her hyper attitude… It was kind of strange, but I was getting use to it… Little by little. I was lucky that Nayeli did not get as hyper as her, that much was a fact that I did not want to have to deal with. Arwen and Nayeli were both so much alike, but one thing was different and that was that Nayeli showed very little emotion and had lots of patients. I caught the stare of Pylar and looked at him for a moment. He could not help but smile at me for a moment before closing his eyes and continued on with the magic. He could do so many things at once, but it never went pass two things when it came to magic. I watched him carefully for a moment, he just continued with the magic and with ease, was able to make it go around his hand, between his fingers and land in his palm. ”GOOD. THEY'D BETTER BE COMING, OR I'LL GO TO THEM!” I smiled at her for a moment, at least, mentally smiled at her and blew out a puff of smoke from my nostrils. I did not understand the connection that people had with each other, though I knew that Nayeli liked Murtagh, I did not like the idea of her having another male in her life. I noted how Arwen paid real close attention to the magic. I had never used magic, though from the memories of others, it was possible for me to use magic, but I had never done such a thing. Nayeli was learning how to control magic and she was getting good, but from what Pylar had told me earlier, he was going to be teaching her a lot tonight and she would have to pay close attention. She would get stronger as she used it and she was already getting physically stronger. ”I am going to teach to open her mind tonight out in the forest… Murtagh and Arwen and yourself are going to have to stay away.” There was still so much I had to learn also, but I would probably never know some of this stuff. I knew I had a lot to learn and from my mother’s memories, she had been taught by a Golden Dragon. Arwen was hanging onto each word that was being spoken and it was kind of funny to watch her with her wide eyes and such. ”You're right! They just don't want to tell everyone that I'm better than Eragon! Of course! If I get added into the story, it would just steal Eragon's spotlight! Ha! I get it now!” Pylar chuckled slightly as he let the rock fall into the palm of his hand and he looked at her. He, and myself, could tell she was very full of herself and it was rather funny. I let a deep dragon chuckle come from my mouth, but it faded slowly. Hearing about Pylar’s family was heartbreaking, but he still held no grudge. ”Um...I'm sorry. Don't worry! You'll get your revenge soon! We're gonna bring that bastard down!” He chuckled slightly, looking at her for a moment and then back at me. ”Galbatorix is not meant for us to kill… Eragon is destined to kill him.” He said and I was interested for a moment. Why was Eragon destined to kill him? Why not Nayeli or another dragon rider. ”What's that? I know it's a ring...but...um. Is it magic?” I looked at him for a moment and then back Arwen. ”My mother made it for me, the stone holds energy that my mother and my father placed into it while I grew… The same with my sword and daggers.” He showed the silver pommel blades and the deep purple shown. ”I have added to the energy… Normally during my battles, after wounding someone, I would take their remaining energy and channel it into the blade, causing their death and giving me this energy.” He put the sword back into the sheath and then placed the daggers in their own sheaths. It was then that I heard Nayeli and looked at her as they rode up, having Pylar take their horses and such. ”What took you so long?! I was so tempted to eat all of this! You're lucky that I'm feeling very full at the moment!” I saw the look Nayeli gave to Arwen, as well as Murtagh. Then she skipped towards Murtagh and it was a funny sight. ”Murtagh! You said you were going to come back soon!” I rolled my eyes at her before I stood and walked over to great Nayeli, my nose touching her forehead for a moment before she touched my chin and kissed my nose. I let a deep rumble come from my chest and then turned towards the other. ”I said I'd be back soon. I didn't say when.” Nayeli and I both chuckled at him for a moment, seeing how Arwen looked very angry and not happy at all. It was funny and I could not help but laugh mentally at her. ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- Well, Nayeli had returned and Osiris was getting a good laugh out of the two siblings. ”Don't be so noisy next time then. Besides, It honestly wasn't all that long.” I looked at them for a moment and glanced towards the forest. Someone was near, but I did not alert them or anyone for that matter. My mind was open to all the life around me, I could feel the being was not far away and down wind, but I still did nothing… I could feel a deep towards the north and a pack of people towards the east. It had to be the Varden I was meeting with tonight, though I knew they did not want Nayeli around, but Arwen could come. I hated to lie to Nayeli, but she had told me not to tell her anything and I had made that note for her to think it was from someone from the empire. ”Wasn't feeling that hungry.” I looked at Arwen for a moment, rolling my eyes. I was concerned that who ever else was out there would follow me and Arwen towards the meeting, but I did not worry about it. Osiris knew about the meeting, I had taken his advice when it came to thing such as this. ”What? It's true! Besides, if I ate all of there wouldn't be enough for Nayeli. She needs to eat too! Plyar's cooking is really good.” I did not think of myself so highly, but at the same time, I did not mind a complement at all. They then to turned towards Nayeli and I took this time to return to my own thoughts for a moment, but I listened to everything they were said. ”We're here because I wanted to do something. I thought about the Spine because I grew up near here. I just dragged him along with me.” I wondered how Arwen, a half elf ended up in the spine. I knew that many elves had relationships with humans, I knew of some half elves who were old like myself, mostly because they knew how to use magic or something of that matter. It mostly depended on the genes they picked up from their parents weather or not they had the same life span as elves or humans. ”We were going to go back to her home village but someone...” I looked at Murtagh for a moment and then back at Arwen as he gave her that glare. It was glare I was getting use to seeing from him. ”...decided to get lost. I was planning just to go back to the castle, but she wanted to stay and do stuff.’ I smiled at this. Arwen had complete control over this man and it was rather funny to see. In the elven world, we were all treated the same, men or women were not unequal, we all fought and trained the same. ”Like, shopping! I need some new tunics and some dresses. My dresses are getting sort of old...” Nayeli laughed and I looked over at her for a moment. Murtagh did not seem to like that idea, the look on his face told me that much. I knew I had to start working on getting everything set up to go and met the people I was going to met. “Arwen...you do realize that you bought those dresses only a month ago...right?” Osiris chuckled and looked at Nayeli. From what I knew of Nayeli, she hated dresses, but she had them. They were beautiful dresses and she would make a beautiful woman when it came to wearing dresses, but the thought only made her cringe when it came to thinking about it. ”Really? Oh well. I like dresses.” Nayeli smiled and shook her head before coming over to me and taking some meat from the rabbit. She gave me this smile that told me she thanked me. ”No need to thank me Malady, I am only doing the job I have volunteered to do.” It was the truth and she could not help but smile at me before turning back to Murtagh, with just a neutral expression on her face. ”Are you on a mission? I figured that the reason why you were out here was because you were sent out to do something for the king.” Nayeli shrugged and looked at the two before turning towards the forest. ”I am on a lead… Sound a letter on my dinning room table two nights ago, told me to come to the Spine in this location, bring myself, my slave elf, and my dragon, that was it.” She said before looking towards Osiris, who was connected to my mind for a moment. ”Are you guys here to meet someone from the Varden?” I looked to her for a moment, connecting my mind with her own. ”I am, but since Nayeli wants nothing to do with the planning, she does not know that I sent her here… I am meeting with a Group of Varden people, in fact, I am meeting her brother, Turin and a young Varden Assassin known as Shayna.” They would be north to our north. Osiris looked at her for a moment and then I turned my head towards the North before going towards my tent. ”Arwen, can you come and help me with something, I need your opinion on something.” It was his way to get her away from Murtagh and Nayeli. cause this is the real thing , love changes everything * ( THIS IS THE NIGHT WHEN EVERY HEART'S EXPLODING! ) Arwen stared at him. Eragon? Why was it Eragon that was destined to kill him? That really made no sense. Eragon? Is it some sort of prophecy? As much as I really do love Eragon, it's gonna be weird to think that he's going to be the only one to kill the king. The girl looked down as she said this, kicking some dirt. Eragon the hero. Eragon the Rider. Seriously. Arwen couldn't help but to feel just a tad jealous of her bother. Her blue obrs then flickered back to Pylar's finger. He told her what it was and what it meant to her. She remained silent. His parents had given him something before they died. Why hadn't hers? She knew that her parents were killed. Apparently because they were 'plotting against the king' and so her mother died from fighting while her father took her to Garrow who took her in. Another fun fact, her father and Garrow were good friends. Oh, how nice. Her father died later on from a battle wound. Arwen had an urge to roll her eyes at the thought, but managed to force her eyes to look down. She gave a small nod, showing that she was listening. She was listening, Arwen knew that. The thing was that there was a little voice in her mind that would keep on nagging her about her brother, Eragon. Why was he so special? Why didn't she have a dragon?
Nayeli was back and so was Murtagh. When she skipped over to her brother, her blue eyes looked at Nayeli while she spoke to Murtagh. Her dark lashes seemed to make her eyes slightly brighter while looking at her friend. A letter? Murtagh rose a brow as he then asked, Strange. Who do you think it was? Arwen looked at him with a dull expression on her face. If she knew, don't you think she would of told you? Murtagh glared at her. Arwen just rolled her eyes, knowing she was snappy. Looking back up at him, she gave a sigh. Sorry, couldn't help it. Force of habit. she smirked at him while he gave a sigh in return. Arwen then glanced quickly over towards Pylar understanding what he had just said. Her blue gaze then turned back to Murtagh and Nayeli. They were just oblivious. The girl couldn't help but feel that guilty pang that entered into her heart as she cheerfully responded to Pylar's request.
Sure, I'd be glad to help! I mean, of course you want my opinion! Everyone wants my opinion! she laughed while giving Murtagh a quick peck on the cheek while walking towards Pylar. She turned back at the two humans as she winked and waved,
Don't cry for me if I'm gone too long! We should be back soon. she promised with smirking at the first part. Murtagh snickered lightly before retorted, I'm sure we'll be able to live without you for a while, Arwen. The girl stuck a tongue out at him before following Pylar towards his tent. In her mind, she then asked,
Are we to leave now?

Eragon? Who in the ever-loving Blessed Isles was Eragon? Some arrogant, overblown, asshole of a Rider, with an overinflated sense of self-importance, no doubt. But then why the Hell was he supposed to kill the liege lord of these people? Questions that had no answers made Convel eavesdrop harder, hoping to hear an answer. Instead, he heard a sort of snuffling sound and digging. Oh dear God, is that a boar? I hope it's not a boar. Please, please, PLEASE DO NOT BE A BOAR!
Turning his head ever so slightly, Convel saw it. It was a boar. A fine specimen, the tushes were long enough to be carved and fit over Convel's wrist, if he had had the idea. The light brown reddish pelt blended in with the dirt, and the yellowish of the tusks accented it. Shaking his head, Convel hoped it wouldn't notice the people, horses, and dragon in the clearing. Undoubtedly it would feel threatened. He would, in that position. If it DID charge, the one thing to do would be to break cover, and fight it. Those tushes would hurt. A lot. And Convel had lost his sword. The damned thing kept disappearing on him at the damnedest times, and now was no exception. He would have sworn it was in the leaves next to him, and as he tried to stick his hand into the basket hilt, there was nothing there.
Slowly drawing his dirk, Convel gave the boar his undivided attention.
