Well, it's time for that tedious and anxious period when you spot a thread called 'Rules' and decide to open it. Although most of you have probably seen something similar to this in the past, there's always a chance someone hasn't and everyone needs a refresher now and then, right? Even if you don't, you should still read this. XD
1. Please make an effort to be friendly and respectful to everyone on the site. If you have a problem with someone that can't be ignored, don't take it to the cbox. Consult it with one of the staff members.
2. It's preferred if you stay active once you join. Although we won't make it a hobby to go through profiles and delete some here and there, if you've made a decision to join in the site then please stick to it. If you disappear without an explanation for a few weeks and you have a Canon character or dragon, you may lose them.
3. This site does not have a fixed level of literacy, but we know you can muster up a few paragraphs before pressing 'post'. So when you're RPing, try to make at least five sentences with fair spelling and grammar.
4. Don't argue with the staff. We're not out to get you and you don't have to be wary of us. If you have a problem with one of us, we can talk about it but you don't have to take it up in a heated conversation.
5. There is no set limit to the number of characters you can have as long as you're able to keep track of all of them and can keep them active.
6. This ties in with rule one, but please lay off heavy swearing in posts or suggestiveness in threads. If you're going to do something like that then put a warning on the top. Even though this site is PG 13, some people have tender eyes. This also applies to heavily detailed posts about battles, etc.
7. Stick to the plot line as best you can. If something you want to do clashes with it, then talk to Angmor about it. But definitely nothing that doesn't have to do with the Inheritance books like another race that doesn't exist in Alagaësia. Also we have a special 'procedure' we go through to find new Riders so no egg hatching outside of that.
And that's pretty much it. It might seem strict, but it keeps things in order. We're not trying to make you robots; just trying to make this site enjoyable.
