Name: Leander 'Lee' Edwardsson
Age: 16
Race: Human
Appearance: Lee is light-skinned, with black hair and the characteristic green eyes of his family. He has an average face structure- nothing to distinguish him from the next guy. He wears a light, white shirt covered in a chain mail shirt. Over his breeches are simple pants. When he prepares for a battle, he wears light steel armor, reinforced by magic. Lee's mother's emerald amulet, magic-holding, can be found in plain view around his neck. His father's sword, a rider's sword, is always either in its scabbard on his left hip or in his hand. He is thin but slightly toned. Naturally, he has a pack on his back for his possessions.
Personality: Lee is intelligent and quick-thinking. His mind is always on battle strategy and possible escape routes if need be. He was trained to be mostly battle-oriented, so his social and emotional skills need development. He does not like to dwell on the past for too long, nor does he worry about others too much. Perhaps he needs a companion to break him of these traits...
History: Lee was born to a knight named Edward, a man of the Empire, and his wife, Alicia, a spellcaster, in Bullridge. He was raised as a warrior would, and had a hard, emotionless childhood from two military-devoted parents. His father taught him to endure physical attacks as well as to deal them. His mother taught him how to use magic, so he is fluent in the ancient language. He worked to join the army, but for reasons that were never revealed, his parents were killed by their employers, and Lee became an orphan with only his father's sword (story to be determied) and his mother's amulet left as memories.
Lee now spends his days wandering, never returning to his home for fear of him being a target as well.
Roleplaying example:
Lee stood on a hill in the great plains of Alagaesia. He was all set to continue on his quest. He wasn't sure what he was looking for, but he hoped to find it. Perhaps the truth behind his parents' murders. Maybe the key to killing the King, assuming he was actually behind it.
First off he needed a goal. Lee felt that his abilities were probably going to be best put to use outside of the Empire. Maybe in Surda, with the Varden. Or north in the forest with the elves. Not with the dwarves, they hated humans. Or did they?
It seemed that some of the things he learned from his parents, working for the Empire, turned out to be wrong or exaggerated. So what was fact? He needed to know. Muttering a spell of guidance, he set off for Surda and the Varden.
