Name: Kirjava
Age: 213
Race: Elf
Appearance:
Kirjave was once, an extremely beautiful person, and still is...until you look at her closely. Hair like starlight falls barely above her waist, hanging in long strands filled with flecks of grass. She always lets it hang down, unless she, rarely, goes into society.
She has cold green eyes, flecked with red and black in the center. Her eyes are slitted like a cat's, giving her a slightly feral look. She wears no make-up, so you can see the heavy dark bags underneath her eyes.
Kirjava has retained the feminine and sophisticated traits of the elves, like the flawless skin, and the high cheekbones, but has acquired other, more subtle traits. For instance, if you look at her skin closely, you will notice the dark tint to her skin, and, looking even closer now, the extremely faint black marking that run along her arms. Her canine teeth have been filed to deadly points, which are as sharp as any dog's.
Kirjava stands at about 5'10, tall for a woman, yet is skinny as well. When she moves it is with a grace, more graceful than even the elves of Ellesmera. She holds herself with a poise, and when she sits it is with a cold glare that dares anyone to challenge her.
Kirjava's normal apparel is..black. Wearing traditional black dresses, Kirjava always looks like she is going to see the king. She wears black satin gloves, which hides her ragged and sharp nails, and black high heels. This is what she normally wears, even around her own cottage. Sometimes she will wear a cloak, just to cover her face in public.
Personality:
Three words:Cold, merciless, evil. Not caring for anyone but herself, never ask her for a favor, because chances are she'll probably just try and gut you. Get that close to her, and she'll turn you into a walking zombie.
Being exiled from Ellesmera never did her any good, and now she just wants revenge. With that in her mind, she has lost all kindness and any other good qualities she might have possessed once.
Kirjava is also, extremely bloodthirsty. She saves every droplet of blood she spills for her magic, which means she is very careful when she kills. Using either decisive magic, poisons, or seduction, Kirjava doesn't use a sword or any other weapon. When every droplet counts, you can't be careless.
This also makes Kirjava an extremely analytical and logical thinker. She thinks every plan, route, or idea until there is nothing left to think of, and even then she tries to question her judgments, trying to bring to eye any problems. usually there aren't any.
When it comes to sex, she's had her fair share. No, never love, or romance Brutal, hard, undisciplined sex is her specialty. The men eat her up, and then...she eats them up. In other words, when she is done she kills them. She has no sexual preferences, the only thing being on her mind is the blood she'll soon have.
History:
Darthier was the writer of his time. At the age of 167 he had written almost over 50 manuscripts, ranging from fictional stories about warriors and dragons, to epics, to poems. Not bothering with swords, he was one of the most influential elves of his time.
One day a beautiful elven maid caught his eye. Her name was Ke'enal, and she had silver hair than shone and light green eyes. Darthier attempted to woo her, but she denied him...as respectfully as she could, and walked away. But Darthier would not give up. He devoted the next 100 years of his life to trying to win over Ke'enal. He wrote her poems, epics, and anything else he thought she would want. Finally, after an extremely long 450 page poem, she relented. They mated, and life was good.
After 50 years of mating, Ke'enal began to grow bored. When elves lived so long, there was no point to sticking with one person for an entire lifetime. So she left. Darthier was crushed. In his anger, he grabbed Ke'enal and raped her. Her shrieks and his groans of pleasure alerted other elves, and he was quickly removed. Ke'enal had not used magic, her mouth was gagged and she was not an extremely skilled magician, so she had been forced to take it. Darthier was quickly removed from Ellesmera, and his works would not be looked at until much later.
Ke'enal did not realize she was pregnant for a while. When she did, she was scared. Children were rare, and her's was a bastard, an accident, a fault. But she didn't have the heart to kill such a thing of nature, so in 9 present months, she had the baby.
Ke'enal named the baby Kirjava, the name of one of the famed rider's dragons, and proceeded to raise Kirjava as a kind and generous elf. But something went terribly wrong. At the age of 29, Kirjava was introduced to black magic, on a lesson when she was told NOT to use it. Her interest in the subject did not falter, and she continued to persist to learn more. When her mother wouldn't tell her, she went to the libraries.
Kirjava studied every aspect of the black magic, spending most of her days reading. She learned incantations, spells, summons, and rituals all forbidden in Ellesmera. Kirjava kept her studies a secret, in fear of being caught and exiled. But she learned.
At the age of 95, Kirjava left Ellesmera. She went deep into the heart of Du weldenvarden, and, once there, raised a cottage. And then she practiced her magic. The first day she did anything of the sort was when she summoned a spirit. It worked, and the spirit was soon dismissed. But on further look of black magic, Kirjava noticed that blood was needed in primarily every spell. So, she began to kidnap elves, so intent on mastering her dark magic, that she had almost lost her sanity.
10 years later she was caught. A host of elves were missing, and no one suspected Kirjava, the beautiful woman up north. But her experiments were working well, and the elves she had kidnapped supplied her with much blood. Her arcane skills were unmatched, as it was with other magic. But one day, one of the elves she was capturing got away, and told another elf, and another, until it got to Islanzadi's ears. Without asking her mate's permission, she banished Kirjava, much to the horror of Ke'enal. As Kirjava left she vowed to take down Ellesmera, and then she was gone.
Kirjava was used to living by herself, but now she was completely on her own. She traveled to Ceunon, and gathered a few supplies before making her way to the Spine. Once there she sang a small cottage from one of the giant oaks, and placed many powerful wards around the hut. Then she resumed her arcane studies.
She continued to kidnap from nearby villages, towns, and cities. Her blood supply was great, and it wasn't until she was 178 that she crafted her scrying glass. The idea came at her out of nowhere, that she almost dismissed the thought. But then, mixing blood from every race, dwarf, urgal, elf, and human, she created a strong scrying mirror, that would allow her to see past all but the strongest wards. With this tool, she was able to see all the comings and goings of the land, much to her delight.
Kirjava still does not know she has a brother. She continues her blood stuides, hoping to one day be able to bring down the elves in Du Weldenvarden.
