*Daran was told to come here. The magistrate had said that all Imperial men were told to come here eventually. That is, if they had shown any talent. And at the very least, Daran had done that. He had done all that they had asked of him, and more, and now he suspects that he will be rewarded in some way. However, he isnt sure thats what it is. For all he knows, they might just kill him. But this feels like something more to Daran. This is something... special. He approaches th large door and sees the elite guard infront of it. They motion for him to stop, and Daran does so. Then the lead guard speaks.*
Who are you? Why are you here?
*Daran bows slightly, then replies.*
I am Daran Vorandeer. I was told to report here and enter the room, and do as instructed.
*The guard nods, then speaks again.*
You must swear in the ancient language that you will never speak of what you see inside. Do you need assistance in this?
*Daran nods and the man speaks the words slowly. Daran repeats them softly, then says them allowed, in the correct order.*
Eka malthinae eddyr tala.
*The guard then nods, and opens the entrance, and Daran sees inside.
His eyes widen slowly as he walks in and sees the eggs in the chamber. He wonders what they are for half a second, then it hits him.
Dragon eggs!
He wanders among them in wonder, running his hands over them. He observes then and touches each and every in the chamber, absolutely fascinated by the eggs. They are a riot of color, and each of them is slightly different from the next. He picks up some of them in the bunch and examines them closely, trying to figure out how they work. He speaks to the and watches them. They fill him with joy, hope, and a sense of purpose. He will always want to be a dragon rider after this experience. They are wonderous creatures in his mind, each different and powerful, all different colors and shapes. He loves them all. After a few hours, the guard re-enters and speaks loudly.*
Daran Vorandeer, you time inside the chamber is up. You must leave now.
*Daran takes one more look at the eggs, and then nods and follows the man out of the room, wondering how long a response might take, to find if one will accept him and hatch for him, to change his life totally, hopefully for the better.*
