Ok, we have just been informed by our favorite Scotsman that his computer has come down with a nasty virus, preventing him from posting. This means he might be gone anywhere from one day to several months. He has limited chat ability on his PS3, and says that posting may be viable on his father's computer, but this is not very reliable. Let us hope that his computer will soon be cured, and that our friend will be returned to us.

I have successfully kicked the viruses in the face, shot them, and pooped in the wound. ;D I got the total security virus (That doesn't let me do anything but surf the 'Net. Literally.) beat with some thinking about the problem 3-D. What I did was restore the computer to a previous session, then I got Malwarebytes and Avast!. I suggest both, as they're both good. So I'm back.

Holy cow. My dad has it, and he isn't throwing his computer at a wall. I do have Avast too, so if anything happens, I'll Avast! it

Malwarebytes is actually kickass, as any good techie will tell you. As long as it's coupled with a higher name, like Avast! or AVG, you're in good hands. Some people claim otherwise but I'm fairly certain those are isolated incidents and not the fault of malwarebytes itself. Good to have you back, Phrosty
