THE TRUTH COMES OUT IN THE BREAKDOWNS( • M E M O R I E S M Y G O D T H E S E M E M O R I E S • ) She was on a horse and was riding through the town. It was great to be on a horse. Too bad she had to ride it to a stall. The man that took her horse looked terrified of her, which was natural. She looked like a guy. With the black on, she looked nothing like a girl. With her secret knife on her wrist and the dual swords hidden beneath her cloak, she began to walk down the streets. Her hood covered everything but her nose and mouth. Underneath her hood, she looked around for her target. Apparently, he was an annoyance to the king and the old man wanted him dead. Arwen rolled her eyes when thinking like this. The old man, also known as the king, was such a bother. She hated him. She, Arwen, was forced to work for him for she had swore under oath that she would work for him until he died, which was not going to be very soon. Approaching some men, she asked in a deep voice,
Excuse me. Would you know where a man called 'Mason' is? I am unsure of what his last name is... she trailed off. Damn, she was good at acting. Her voice even sounded manly. With a small smirk, she watched the men look at her with annoyed glares. They all rose up and surrounded her. What do you want with Mason? Arwen only gave a shrug before giving them a smirk.
I am an old friend of his. I only wish to see him for I was in the area. She sounded innocent enough. They told her that she would find him in a nearby bar where he usually ate and drank at. With a smile, she thanked them with a small bow. Climbing on some boxes, she jumped onto one of the roofs. She heard muttering own below about how 'cool' and how 'dangerous' she was. Quickly and softly, she ran across a few roofs, jumping from time to time. Jumping down below, she nearly hit someone in the process. Forgetting her manly voice, she automatically said,
Sorry! and gracefully walked into the bar without another glance back. The bar was dimly lit and it was noisy but not crowed. With a grin on her face, she looked around for the man who she was going to kill today. Damn. He wasn't anywhere to be seen!
Her eyes widened for a moment before she thought, Have I been tricked? Is this some sort of trap? her initial instinct was to fight, but she played it calm and walked up to a stool over at the bar and ordered in a cold tone,
A large ale, bartender. Quickly now. Stop dawdling! She snapped at him for he was staring at her with the same eyes that many people gave her now. With a roll of an eye, she tapped her fingers against the hard wood while waiting for something to happen.

boil the land burn the sea, you will never take the sky from me... Crim Harrowmont sighed. he had traversed the large empire, and had decided to visit the sea. it had taken about a week of solid travel. his bow and leather outfit was scattered with dust. he was on a high rise just outside the city of fienster, the summer heat drove down upon him and the birds sang as it drew later in the day. he sighed and set off for the main gate. it took him just under an hour to reach and when he did he was stopped by a guard who asked him his business here. he lied smoothly and gained entrance to the town. he made his way down a few side streets reveling in the human presence. "they are not so bad" he said to himself. sure they lacked the grace and their buildings were fragile, but they seemed all right. drawing his courage he stepped onto the main road. his bright white tunic and leather breeches standing out, the cape he had on was hooded and it was drawn low over his face, you could see his eyes.... he sighed as he walked down the main road of the town. it was a bit busy, more humans than he had encountered before and he kept feeling the urge to touch his fingers to his lips. he walked down one of the main streets, bought an apple and a pie. he stopped at an inn and bought a room for the night. as he exited to go see if he could spike a human drink with faelnirv he was ran into by a passerby. he glanced. dark clothes, darker personality, shielded mind behind a wall nigh unbreakable. dressed in all black built like a runner. long cloak that hung heavy, hood that exposed nothing but their eyes and mouth. the figure spoke and he was startled to see that it was female.... it said sorry to him. the figure quickly dashed into a bar. he slid into a side street and removed his cloak, he quickly cast a spell to render his ears round and his features like a human, except his hair and eyes. his bow now free of the cape hung on his back already strung thanks to his quiver, his long sword hanging at his waist, its bright pure white blade in the shape of a bladed leaf and a triangle overlapping. he stepped back out into the main road and decided to follow the figure. he entered the bar and immediately the smell of drunken men and beer assailed his nose. he located the figure and pulled a seat next to her. after dusting off his white black leather tunic he ordered a simple water and loaf of bread from the barkeep and turned to the figure.. "greetings, what brings you to the bar this late..."and then in a low tone so that none but her would here. "mi'lady?"he smiled deeply, his golden eye and his green eye sparkling widely as he fiddled with the fletching of one his arrows on his back.

THE TRUTH COMES OUT IN THE BREAKDOWNS( • M E M O R I E S M Y G O D T H E S E M E M O R I E S • ) Arwen jumped at the sound of the voice. It was a male. Pretty eyes and pretty features for a human. Well, he looked human. Bloody hell, he could be a mix like her. Her blue eyes looked at him with hostility, almost asking him to go away. He approached her without a sound and for some reason, Arwen wasn't at her edge. He spoke to her in a gentle tone and she stiffened when he had said 'm'lady'. Her eyes went slightly wide before regaining the cool look she held.
Excuse me..? Her voice was natural, without pretending like she was a guy. Taking off her hood, she looked at him with a raised brow. I'm sorry if I may sound rude, but why do you care why I'm here? She apologized in advance, since he did sound like a nice guy. The bartender came back with her drink and once he settled down the drink, he just stared at her with a look of relief. Like, he was happy she was a girl. She shot him a glare and snapped, What the hell are you looking at?
He jumped at the sound of her sharp tone and quickly walked to the other side of the bar, busing himself with a cup that was already clean. She turned back towards the guy before giving him a coy like smile. Was there something you needed? Arwen's face showed a look of curiosity, for she was interested why the man would approach her. Besides, how the hell did he know she was a girl? She looked like a guy, for heaven's sake. Besides...was this the guy she was supposed to kill? She cautiously then asked,
Um..you wouldn't happen to be called Mason, would you?

boil the land burn the sea,but you will never take the sky from me... Crim sighed, his hair bugged him so he naturally and without thought tucked the strands behind his ear. he continued to look into her eyes, as she asked him if he wanted anything of her and if he was a man named olson. he laughed.
first by tugging at his arm band so that the yawe upon its adorned head was hidden. he smiled lightly and said
"now, why would it matter if i was olson. are you a visitor of his, if so i am sure we could go search for him together if you would wish."
his eyes sparkled at how coercive he could be at times. he turned in his seat to look at her and flashed a roguish lopsided grin, in a smile that seemed far to beautiful to be coming from a mere man.
he dropped one hand to his thigh and the other grabbed his flask of faelnirv from within his tunic, he poured a small amount into the water he had just been delivered and proceeded to drink the liquor. it had no effect on him as he was a full elf, but he still marveled at the taste, even if the glass serving it was crude. in doing so he awaited her response.

THE TRUTH COMES OUT IN THE BREAKDOWNS( • M E M O R I E S M Y G O D T H E S E M E M O R I E S • ) Arwen smiled coldly at the man who was talking to her. Seriously. If he wasn't Mason, or 'olson' as that guy said, why was he talking to her? Rolling her blue eyes, she simply put it, Never mind Mason. He can wait. Besides, I just waiting for him to meet me here. It's more like a little...surprise greeting! Arwen smiled prettily before taking a small sip of her ale that had been given to her. She watched him smile and turned slightly pink.
Alright, so this guy was pretty...no. He was really good looking. Arwen frowned slightly. He was too good looking to be a human, honestly. He would look better as an elf. Perhaps he went through some sort of change to look more human? Not that she really cared. She watched him pour something into his drink and curiously asked, What's that?
Arwen was now curious about this guy who seemed nice. Was there some sort of catch to him or something? With a light tone, she commented. You wouldn't happen to be an elf, would you? I mean, you look like my kind. I'm part elf, you know. She gave him a sweet smile before showing him her pointy ears. Ha. Hopefully she got him now.

Crim sighed. was it it that obvious he thought to himself.he fidgeted, he was deciding what to do 'do i reveal my self as a elf, and mayhaps earn the scorn of the empire. but also mayhaps gain a friend.' he fidgets, playing with the hilt of his sword against his thigh. he stares at his faenirv an idea strikes him. he withdraws the flask again and pours a second glass.
"tell me what this drink is, and i shall tell you... for if you know it then it is all the proof you shall need.
his eyes scan the room as he tries to find any threats, he sees nothing however, and so he assumes it is safe if that she guesses correctly that he can reveal himself.
he fidgets his bow resting uncomfortably against his back, he adjusts it and then also states. "my name is Crim Harrowmont, and yours mil'lady?"
he takes a look around the bar one more time, he marvels in the fact that the wooden construction has been able to live up to the elements, already there were signs of damage. chipped wood, slight mold in the corner s and spider webs in the corners.

THE TRUTH COMES OUT IN THE BREAKDOWNS( • M E M O R I E S M Y G O D T H E S E M E M O R I E S • ) The dark haired girl looked at him with a raised brow. Seriously. Pursing her lips, she gave him a cool smile before saying, So you want me to play a game with you? Wow, for an elf, you are quite childish. She smirked at him. Alright, so maybe she wasn't as warm as she thought she was. But, honestly. Arwen didn't know what the hell it was. She was just going to stick with the fact that he was an elf. Besides, she knew about magic. It was easy for an elf to use magic on himself. Afterall, he looked so much like an elf, she wasn't able to think of him as human now.
Arwen rolled her eyes when looked so uncomfortable. Yes, she knew she was being slightly mean, but it was so much her fault. In a bored tone she said, If you feel so uncomfortable, just take the thing off. You're fidgeting, you know that? She had glanced down to see the man tapping his fingers. His face even showed how uncomfy he was. So much for hiding his feelings. With a smirk, she responded in a chipper manner.
Arwen. Glad to meet you, Crim. You probably know by now, but I work for the empire. Obviously. The girl breezily continued on with a cool look in her eye. Sure, she didn't like the empire but that didn't mean that she couldn't tell him truthful things like that. With a bored expression on her face, she continued to drink her ale.
Sooo...what brings you here?
