Diego was walking through beatiful reavstone, it was a magnificent city next to the ocean being a port city as it is. he was walking through the market when he bought: bread, an onion , pickles and a sardine, he combined all this into a sandwhich and took a small bite, it was less repulsive than most human foods. it actually tasted alright, he knew to a human it wouldnt work but to a shade it tasted pretty good. he hated the fact that he knew what the food tasted like but it never tasted how it should. he knew it was because he was a shade.
Standing at 6'1 he's a bit taller than most, he has long crimson hair that flows down past his ears almost touching his shoulder. his eyes are blood red. hes wearing sturdy tough tunics that are reinforced by an extra layer of cotton, hes wearing a cape thats almost pure black. hes wearing breeches that are the finest make, and has his Dual swords on his belt, with a quiver of arrows on his back and a bow hung behind the quiver. hes wearing socks and leather boots on his feet, leather greaves over his legs and a leather curiass over his tunic.
The crowd parted to let him past as he made his way to the ocean, the ocean always calmed him down, it was so peacefull, so quiet he envied it so. he was always feared and hated the only refuge where he could get away from this was joining the varden which he had yet to do. it was depressing. he sat down on a log and waited for insults or assaults.

Lissa had been searching for a job for a while now. After that little stunt with Cato, she’d had no luck finding anything. Deciding to take a break from the boring routine, she decided to head some place new. It was a small town with large ships belonged to the Varden. There weren’t many houses in the area and it wasn’t like there was a whole lot of work to find here either. It was mainly fishing, and she would not be a fisherwoman for a career. Even though she loved the water and spent most of her time in it, she would rather not spend all of her time either in it or on it.
Taking her break in the ocean, she swam around for a bit, allowing the tide to take her around the shoreline. She was actually bored. It wasn’t that she wanted to work for the rest of her life as that too would get tedious, but she wanted to do something with her life. She didn’t want to wander around for years and years, finding no work and relying on her deceased parents’ wealth. It was a boring life and she would rather be doing something better with it. She thought about the mission she had been on just recently. What they had found out made her want to pursue a career in the sciences. It had to be better than magic. With magic, it was plain and simple. As long as you did it correctly, it would end up the way you want it. However, with science, it behaved in its own way, listening to no laws but its own.
She continued to swim around idly before she noticed that she just passed a strange looking man. With crimson hair and blood red eyes, she should have noticed him sooner. Her tail flicked through the water as she came closer to the man. It wasn’t like he was going to harm her, and besides, he’d already seen her. There was no point in trying to hide what he had already seen. “Hello” it was simple enough, and much more wouldn’t need to be said, hopefully.

Diego watched the water with interest he thought he saw something. he shrugged it off and ignored the stupid thought, he thought it was a mermaid, then again he saw her and 'she has a tail... it was impossible ? no not impossible, improbable' he thought before hearing her say, “Hello” her ability to speak, surprised him even more, 'A talking fish woman. Brilliant what now.' he thought before staring at the women he noticed the pointed ears and then it hit him that she must have used a spell of some sort to achieve the resemblance of a fish.
Diego then said to the Elf "Hello, Why do you resemblance a fish ? and why are you talking to me ?" He said it calmly and controlled, he was not agitated merely curious, he wondered why she was talking to a shade, whom was almost the most dangerous person in Reavstone, He stared at the woman still completely dumbfounded, he wondered why an elf was here anyway and not off trying to net them selves a dragon. which most of the elves would be trying to do.

He looked confused, though she had no idea why he would be. Smiling wide, she pulled her tail out of the water and held it up, looking at it better in the sun light. The silvery grey scales shimmered in the light. “Well you see, I was born crippled. And I wanted to walk and swim so badly that I had to find a way. Swimming just isn’t as much fun with legs,” Swimming around where he sat, she stopped herself from splashing him. She was in a really good, playful mood today. “Hmm, why would I talk to you? Because I can and want to?” was it that much of a shock to him that an elf would want to talk to him?
She looked him over, noticing his food choice. That was a rather odd pairing to place together. However, if he liked it, then it was good enough for him. She would rather not have to eat something like that, let alone wanting to eat that something. But it wasn’t her place to judge what he ate. Tilting her head to the side, propping herself up on the log that he sat on, her elbows holding her up. “Why? Am I not allowed to talk to you?” she smiled again, laughing lightly. He was an odd one.

"Interesting story, and its not that your not allowed its just odd for humans, elves, dwarves or anyone else to talk to a shade, it can be kinda depressing to be honest." Diego said smiling, it was odd to see someone who wasnt afraid of a shade, it was a pleasant surprise but still suprising non the less. he noticed the dark grey tail it was odd but then he was a possessive spirit so he couldnt talk. he said "Adurna Risa" And he lifted his hand to try and lift the girl and a Cube of water out of the sea, he hated looking down on people.
the tide was coming in and it was lapping against his boots.it was sunset, most men where coming back from fishing or other various jobs while the women would be preparing dinner for their children and husbands, he wondered if there was a girl out their for him, or whether if he would be alone for the remainder of his life. He shook off these thoughts by asorbing the energy from a cat that was walking along the rooftops, he stole about half of the cats energy before leaving its mind. he then said to the woman "Where do you come from She-Elf ? and who turned your legs into a tail ?" he said it not harshly but more as if it were an idle question between friends.
He looked at the stars, they were so beautiful tonight, mixed with the dark orange sky.
