He is extremely weak to the seduction of a beautiful woman. It is an inherited weakness, and is the cause of him and is 14 younger siblings who left in Uru'Baen.
History:
The story of Toriyuu Doubleblade began 18 years ago. A beautiful woman named Aluna traveled through Uru' Baen. She was from the north, a village named Carvahall, and she came south to find a new life. Right outside of Uru' Baen she was attacked by a group of thieves. She had a dagger with her, but it was not enough to stop the thieves. They tied her up and took her belongings, were about to make away with her, when a strong young man confronted the thieves. He was stocky, and strong, looking as if he could lift two cows with ease. He was winning the fight, until he was ambushed by more thieves. He was almost overwhelmed, until small purple flashes of light went through the heart of each thief. They came from the woman, who had freed herself and had passed out from the strain.
The man, whose name was lieutenant Arodas, took the woman back to his home. When she woke later that night the two discussed who they were and where they were from. Aluna was attracted to the man, and charmed him quickly. Nine months later they bore a son. After Toriyuu was born his parent began to argue. Arodas was flirting with other woman when he and Aluna were engaged. They fight ended with Aluna attempting to run away with her son. Arodas caught her, but allowed her to leave, but she had to leave her son. Toriyuu was brought up his father's three mistress/maids, who would each bare him a child in time to come. When he was five years old his father decided that it was time for him to become a warrior, and he started his training. They young boy hated the hard intense training. They lasted for hours, and fighting grown men left him with plenty of bruises and sores. Every night he would cry when no one was around.
Arodas decided to lock Toriyuu in the castle until he was officially a man. By time he was eight years old he had grown to tolerate his swordsmanship lessons. He had learned to best his father's lesser soldiers and was now instructed by a captain. It was that year that Arodas became a general for Galbatorix. Because of his new status Toriyuu was forced to begin magic lessons. At first they were frustrating, but after months he he let out a a sky blue spark from his hand and the water exploded out of the tub. After he accomplished this his real training began. It began with reaching the magic, and after he was able to do this he began lifting light objects. After one year of magic tutoring he began to use real spells and learn the ancient language. The minor spells took him a year to learn, and during this time he learned a lot of the ancient language. After a year of this training, Toriyuu began to get good with magic. He began to learn better spells, and by the age of 14 he knew the ancient language back and forward. He was on par with weak magic users, and this was when the advanced training began. After three years of tough training he was a high level magic user, at least for a human.
It was on his seventeenth birthday that Toriyuu fell in love. Her name was Mari, and her father was a foot soldier. The young woman lived in Uru' Baen and worked as a stable hand. Toriyuu hired her to help him breed his horses, and within one week they were in love. His father had decreased the amount of time that he had to be tutored, and he spent all of his extra time with her. Mari was an excellent swords-woman as well as archer, which may be one of the reasons that they love each other so much. But Mari hated the Empire. She and her father were Varden spies, and when they were found out Mari fled to the Varden. Mari's father was killed by General Arodas, and Toriyuu watched his beheading. He was also forced to watch the man's entire squad be killed for no reason at all. It was then he decided to flee to the Varden.
Toriyuu prepared for a month to flee to the Varden. He lied to his father and said that he was taking his horses to be sold in Furnost. This way no one would suspect his activities when he took all his horses with him. It also would keep him from being missed for some time. The trip to Aberon took him and his horses three weeks. There he and the horses he loved so very much joined the Varden.
Four the last four years Toriyuu has lived and worked alongside the Varden. He has fought in all of their battles, and has found himself to be a captain in the army. It is known that he is a mage and a sorcerer much stronger than any of the Du Vrangr Gata members, and he has refused to join many times, mostly because of the twins who lead them. When the twins left and Trianna took over he considered joining, but decided not to. He had not intentions on getting into Du Vragr Gata's politics, but often used his magic to help the Varden. He has also bred horses for the Varden to use. He is hoping that one of the newly found eggs will hatch for him.
Roleplaying example: Toriyuu pulled off his shirt in the middle of the forest clearing. The ride there alone made him sweat on that blazing day. It hade been a while since his injuries had healed, and he had just started to readjust his muscles to the lifestyle of a warrior. He was amazed by the changes in him over the last year, especially those over the past two months. He was now eighteen and he looked like a man. Sadly he had not been able to fight like one. Not long after he had suggested the attack on the three sothern villages he began to suffer from strange muscles spasms. After months of treatment and healing they stopped, and he was allowed to train again. At first his muscles strained with what he would have once called easy, but now he was stronger than he was before. This new found strength was even found in his magic he attributed this to his new found physical maturity. The man pulled out his two new swords(which were a lot heavier than his old ones) and ran towards a tree. With to powerful swipes from both directions he chopped the tree. He left a stump, the top of the tree, and a two foot piece of bark all alone. He than began to work through the swordsman forms that were meant for adults. He did all of this with 25 pound weights on each arm, and 50 pound weights on each leg. Soon he would prove himself worthy of a dragon.
