Name: Romulus Locke
Race: Human
Age: 23
Appearance: Short, rust colored hair, almost like the color of dried blood. The only way you could tell Torn and Romulus are related is because they both have the same yellow-green eyes that look like a vile poison. Tall, about 6' 8", slightly more muscular than Torn, his hands and feet seem to big for him, almost like a puppy. He is covered with many scars from battling on the front lines. He has a mild tan from working in Surda, Narda, and Teirm the most.
Personality: He is almost opposite of Torn his brother. He is violent, but he has remarkable will power, and most times he doesn't let those that have crossed him know, until he takes revenge on them. He is sadistic, and often tortures prisoners he captures. He is called the "Human-Shade" by people when he isn't around. He is serious and doesn't joke except in his own morbid sense of humor. He has excellent battle tactical sense, which helped him rise fast in the army.
History: Born the younger twin Romulus wasn't made public, he nearly died with his mother in child birth. Grange Locke hid him from the public, not even Torn knew of him. Grange figured that the one better suited to help advance his status would be Torn, for even at birth Romulus' hands and feet were too big for him. After Torn ran away with much of Grange's money Romulus was revealed to the public. Officially Romulus was an orphan, one that Grange selflessly adopted to give a better chance at life, but many knew better. The poison-green eyes of the House of Locke gave it away. After being hidden from people for so long, Romulus didn't know how to act around people. He grew angry at Torn, if it wasn't for Torn, he would have grown in the public, having friends, playing outside. Romulus instead of spending time with people would stay alone, and kill little animals. When he turned fifteen he joined the Imperial army and quickly rose to Captain. By the time he was eighteen he had his own unit. At first many people thought he was doing well in the army was because his father was bribing and blackmailing everyone, but he was soon proven to have earned the success on his own. Now at twenty-three he owns a house in Uru'baen and commands a special unit. Called the Bloodgrain squad, it protects land caravans from raids so soldiers can get supplies they need in the field. It's the most succesfull such squad that is currently in use. He is one of the youngest Generals of the Imperial Army, and while many know he earned it, rumors still spread. One of the most circulated rumor says the Emperor asked if Romulus would prefer to be transferred and promoted as Chief Interrogator. It is said he replied “What I do in my tent is for my pleasure, not for the Empire.”
Other: Romulus knows more words in the Ancient Language than Torn, but his magic isn't as strong as Torn's. He like Torn has an amethyst ring that belonged to his mother. He has one broad-sword and one short-sword.
Romulus has a gray horse name Yarrow, a gift from his father. He is a strong war-horse, some have desribed him as larger than a small house, while that isn't entirely true Yarrow is a large horse, and people run at the site of him fully armored.
The broad-sword was made by dwarves and passed down in the Locke family for a long time. It is silver, with a permanant edge, in the wire-wrapped pommel is a dark garnet, like blood. It is actually the brother of Torn's sword, one for the House of Locke, the other for an elven family, but that family died and the sword was stolen, where Torn bought it from a fence.
The short-sword is a sharp steel blade with a green pearl in the pommel. It was a gift from his father when he was promoted the head of his own special unit.
While he commands his own unit he travels often, trying to find Torn. [/color]
