Name: Kano Inazuma
Age: 18
Race: human
Appearance: Kano is a relatively normal human, about 6' tall and an athletic build. He is a mysterious person due to the fact that he is always swathed in his seemingly heavy tan cloak. On his back he carries a large black cylindrical bag. His weapons are concealed underneath the cloak, along with his entire upper torso. The only thing that is actually visible are the last few feet of black leather leggings down to his feet which are clad in black, steel-treaded boots. Underneath that cloak he wears a white tunic with the sleeves torn off and the black leather pants.
His weapons are different as well. His sword, which he forged himself under the expert supervision of his father, is a medium- length 1-1/2 inch wide sword. The odd features of it: 1. the half blade starting from the tip and moving down to the middle of the blade on one side and, 2. The odd pearly white color of the steel. His other weapons are similarly as odd, a 3-foot tanto and steel needles tipped with either a deadly poison, or a paralytic agent.
His physical appearance, though obscured by the cloak, are somewhat normal as well. Through his years as a metalsmith, he gained many scars, two of which he would rather forget. One runs down across the bridge of his nose, under his left eye and down to his cheek, and the other is an x-shape on his right jawline. His arms and the rest of his body also hold a lot of scars. His hair is a medium brown hue, mixed with a few lighter streaks especially in the bangs. The hair itself is long and flows down to the middle of his back, though he has it bound up with leather strips. His eyes are a bright sapphire blue, and seem to gleam whenever the light hits them.
Personality: Kano is a very peculiar person. He only talks when he thinks it is necessary, which could be any point in time. Sometimes he even goes without talking for days on end. Despite his spurts of cold silence, he is actually kind to those few people he considers friends, but no matter the person he treats them with respect, even though he may hate their guts. In addition, if he is angered, Kano can be a dangerous force to face. On the other hand, he can be gracious to those who don't anger him, often lending a hand later on if he meets them again.
History: Kano grew up with his older brother and his parents in a small village at the western edge of the Hadarac Desert. His father was a metalsmith, and his mother made jewelry out of silver, which was abundant in the area from nomads who wandered the desert. His brother left when he was 18 and Kano was only 13, so he does not remember much of him.
However, the years following were growing tense, especially with the heating conflicts between the Varden and the Empire. Once he had finished his apprenticeship to his father, Kano was given a sapphire crystal pendant by his mother, and was given his father's blessing before he left home in search of his brother.
It has been almost a year since he left home in search of his brother, and still he had found nothing, now he lies deep within the Empire, still searching and wondering where to search next. His next stop? The Varden.
Roleplaying example: A young man stood amongst the Field of Pillars between the ruins and the lake. It had once been a great market, but now was deserted and crumbling. His features were obscured by a heavy cloak and his long moonlight silver hair. His cloak was made of extremely durable cloth and was a deep tan color. Underneath the cloak, he wore a white sleeveless tunic and black leather pants.
At his side was a sword sheath, concealing a blade of a brilliant copper hue. On the back side of his belt he had attached a long 3-foot tanto. This was his secondary weapon alongside senbon needles if he needed to use it. Kano stood near the pillar, staring out over the lake as he waited. He seemed to be looking for something, but what he was looking for was unknown.
