Arona walked slowly down the hall thinking deeply. So far things where going good, maybe even better then good. She was a adviser now in the army and carried a fair amount of power in the empire. So far she had done well playing her part with perfection well still doing what needed to get done. At the moment she was in search of riders and thier dragons. The king wanted her opion on them for some weird reason and so she did. She was the perfect servent doing exactly what you wanted plus more.
So she went in search of a pair hoping to find one worth while. She still wore her long silver cloak that hide her from veiw. It even hid her face but she really had no choice in the matter. She had made her ears look normal but her skin was a different story. It was almsot a glow with the amount of magic that ran through her veins. Not to mention she had many oast experences that where not happy ones. Arona was experinced and did well at many things but yet she had a flaw. From her past she feared any sort of attention which is very ironic. With her blond hair with it's many shades to her crystal blue eyes to her flawless skin she would stand out in a crowd. Who ever looked upon her face never seemed to forget her.
So the cloak insured that would never happen again. Let alone she flinched at even the slightest gestures. Yes getting cuaght would not do her any good. She heard and knew what happened in those chambers and was in no rush to enter there herself. She had many soldiers who made it quite clear they wanted her dispite being able to see her skin. She visably shuddered at the thought of even showing her face. She finally came to a court yard with trees and flowers and went and sat on a bench.
The riders where supposed to come to her so she changed her mind and decieded to wait. She sat thier and closed her eyes listening to the world around her ahhhh how much she missed her home. A sparrow landed on her lap and she opened her eyes and talked with it a while before it had to leave. She watched it go and suddenly felt very home sick. Pushing the feeling away she opened her mind and watched what was happening inside the castle waiting for someone to approach
