Elaniver smiled at her words and nodded in agreement as he continued to stare around the area. He was something of a regular here really, ‘The Game’ was a name that was rather well known throughout the Varden but the sparring ring was one of the places were it was better known. He wondered what he would have to do to get someone to challenge him, as everyone there seemed to already have a challenge. He did notice however, one fight in particular. It was between what looked like an archer and a regular soldier and it was fairly amusing to watch, every time the soldier tried for something, the archer would lightly and casually dart out of the way. The soldier seemed to catch Elaniver staring because he held his hand up to the archer and turned to Elaniver. “What?” He said rather aggressively, holding his arms out to his sides. Elaniver smiled slightly from the corner of his mouth and he strapped his war hammer onto his horses back.
He went calmly over to the two men and took the archer gently but firmly by the arm, leading him over to stand next to the soldier. He walked opposite them and rose up his hands casually, gesturing for them to try and attack him. The man chuckled to himself before launching a fist at Elaniver’s nose, which was caught by the bigger Elaniver. He swung the man round his body and threw him at the archer. Missing completely, the man was fast, a traditionally light and agile archer who evaded the flying body with ease. The soldier crashed to the floor and Elaniver stood up straight, his guard down as well as the archers. Staring down at the fast man before him. He noticed that the other man was charging again and so turned to the side and kicked the man in the gut. He grabbed the man by the hair and put his head in between his legs, wrenching the man’s arms behind his back, still staring at the archer. Elaniver abruptly dropped down to his knee’s, driving the mans face into the dusty ground. He slowly got back to his feet and kept the stare down with the archer.

Autumn watched with amusement, her hand crossed over her chest as she watched with a smile on her lips. Men glanced at her, seeing a woman here was rare enough she would assume, but how she wanted a fight. She looked at the archer, but her eyes wondered back to Elaniver, a man who was strong, kind, merciful, but all her's. She did not plan on sharing such a man with anyone anytime soon. She moved around the arena watching with a careful eye as she continued to moved around the arena and then stopping and standing not far from the archer, wanting to get the best view.

Elaniver glanced at Autumn once before turning his attention completely to the archer. Wondering if he was the type to go all out attack or if he was the stand off type, the kind that waited to counter his opponents techniques as they came instead of making the first vital move. Elaniver wondered how he should try to outsmart the man; he couldn’t just go pound for pound power, as the man was quick and agile on top of being very light-footed, as most of the archers were. A thought occurred to Elaniver and he seemed distracted for a moment, looking up at the sky, a sudden shocked look appearing on his face as his mouth dropped open and his eyes widened.
Curiously and urgently the mans head jerked upwards also, his eyes searching for the cause of Elaniver’s astonishment, his eyes found nothing and returned to Elaniver just in time to notice the distance that had been covered by the man in between them. Elaniver’s fist planted itself hard into the mans cheek, toppling the man backwards in surprise and pain combined with being simply completely dazed by the blow that had been dealt. Elaniver smiled a slightly cheeky smile as the man hit the floor and ran a hand over his head motioning nothing being there. His grin plainly visible.

Autumn watched and then had to laugh as the man was sent to the ground. It was quiet funny how Elaniver tricked the fast and agile archer, something that even she knew better. If she was going to look at something other then her target she would glance and then make sure she was ready for the attack, this archer was not so good with his eyes or thoughts. She set forward and looked at Elaniver.
"You out smart a trickster, Elaniver," It was easy to see and she found it very amusing. Now she wanted a challenge, one that would be fun and at the same time challenging, but she knew that Elaniver would not be that pick. She wanted someone to challenge her. Anyone could tell she was trained, no woman held this many blades on her body.

Elaniver smiled at her words, he enjoyed pulling little tricks like that here and there whenever his opponent thought that he had the upper hand. It was simply for a little bit of fun more than anything else, Elaniver had never really understood the need for being so serious about everything when fighting, at the end of the day. The fact that a madman had made his way to power was a joke, no reason why people couldnt joke around when they felt like it.
He looked around once more, searching for someone to challenge Autumn, or vica versa. He grinned broadly as his gaze fell upon what looked like a miner. He had broad forearms and very short legs, but definitely human. A low centre of gravity but an incredibly pathetic reach with his arms. "How about that one for you?" He asked her pointing the man out from the crowd as he wondered what he would do in the meantime other than watch.

Autumn gave him a smile and then her eyes looked at the man who was short and rather ugly in her opinion. She was hoping for someone a little talker and more agile, possible someone who could match her height and weight or somewhere along those line. She then saw a boy behind the man, he had long blond hair that went to his shoulders, he was the same size as her and looked strong enough.
"No, that boy," The boy's eyes widened as she pointed but then they narrowed and he quickly nodded his head, taking her challenge. She smiled and removed her cloak, the black cloth she handed to Elaniver and giving him a sly smile. Her clothing fit perfectly to her body, her belt held the three blades she carried with her always, the two daggers and a sword. She moved away from Elaniver and smiled again to the blond boy.

Elaniver took her stuff, surveyoing the boy she had chosen. To him he looked to be something of a stuck up kid, just another arrogant kid who thought he knew it all just because he was good enough to be accepted into the Varden. But then he might not be, he may be one of those kids who looked to learn something at every corner just in case one day someone comes up who is better than them. He watched her move away from him for a moment before turning his attention back to the boy. He had it in his mind to step in if it got too much. He felt stupid for thinking it as of course he knew that Autumn could probably handle this guy. She wasnt a fighter for nothing, but still. Elaniver did have the urge in the back of his head to flaw the guy if he laid so much as one finger on her.
He pushed these thoughts aside and focused on the fight itself, resting her stuff on his horses back and folding his arms as he surveyed the scene. Watching the boy more than Autumn just in case he did turn out to be one of the bad eggs of the sparring arena.

She moved herself around the arena her slim body moving through the arena, the eyes of many men watching as she moved with ease and then drew her sword. The silver glimmering from the sun as she did so. She looked at the blond boy, her blond braid going down her back. He drew his own sword for now the moved in a circle, her eyes moved easily over his body, looking for his small flaws, for even the small one were easy to find. She saw her first one, his leg was injuryed, she saw the bandage under his pants. She smiled and then the fight began.
His sword came at her, her sword his his and the sound of metal to metal could be heard through out the crowd. She felt each hit as they dodges, blocked, and went through the air. She moved with ease, her feet gliding her throughout the arena as she moved with ease. The body learned her moved with ease and was soon making it harder for her to dodge making her have to strike more, but she had another trick, on that would through him for a nice spin.
Her sword hit his, her body twirled and she was behind him. She dropped the sword and drew her daggers, grabbing him from behind, both blades touching his neck, the cold steal was pressed again his warm throat. She placed her face next to his ear, her eyes looking at the corner of his eye. She held a smile on her face, sweat went down her cheek as she looked at him and then her lips parted as she spoke into his ear.
"You lose boy, I appriciate the fight," She brought down one blade to his hand that held the sword and pressed the blade into his skin, not hard enough however to cut. He dropped the blade and she smiled more. She let him go, hitting him in the back gently and then picked up her own sword. The men were impressed by this girls ability.

Elaniver smiled at the outcome, glad she had proven herself to the men around the sparring area who had been tentatively watching and trying not to let anyone else notice that they were watching one of their own being slowly desemated by a woman. He smiled as he watched Autumn pick up her sword and started to walk over. He saw the young boy look indignantly at the womans back and then he caught sight of Elaniver and quickly turned to hurry away. Elaniver sidled over to her, casting a hulking shadow in the dust and the dirt generated from the sun of Surda which did its best to try and melt those it came into contact with it.
He smiled as he approached and nodded saying. "Well you got the others worried."I an appreciative voice, feeling quite proud of her acheivements as she had shown that se could not only hold her own against a man but she could quite easily beat one also.

She smiled and as she got under his shadow placed her hand on his chest, tracing some of his firm muscles before she looked up at him. She gave him a sly smile and then moved past him towards her horse and hung her belt from the horse and removed the two daggers, sliding them in a smaller belt she never took from her pants. She turned back to him, her sword hung firmly to the saddle.
"They should be worried," She stated as she walked back to him, looking up into his black eyes as she gave him her smile. "I fight with no mercy." It was simple words that came from her gentle voice that meant more to a soldier then anything else. She had proven herself to the young man as being skilled, but one day she knew she would have to prove herself to a more experienced fighter and someone who knew what they were doing. She looked at him with a smile and then looked around at the staring men. She could tell that they were talking about her, that she had beaten a man and possible a good warrior at his own game.

Elaniver grinned at her answer, in his veiw, no mercy was one of the best ways to fight. Many people thought otherwise, but it strngly depended on who you were fighting. In a real life situation, when faced with an enemy it was you rinstinct to make sure that they went before you at all costs. if you had to kill them then you ddid. In a battle you simply had to look for the easiest solution and most of the time that was to simply kill your enemy.
He took a look around at the surrounding men, all of them looking at the woman. Half in resentment and half in shock. Elaniver was glad that Autumn had shocked them back to reality, something that they had been sorely needing for quite a while now. He saw one man spit and couldnt help but smirk at the childishness. What did he think he was proving? All he was proving was that he didnt like the idea that a woman could easily beat a man as easily as Autumn just had.

She glared at the man as he spit, her glare was ice cold, just like her eyes were. She looked around for a moment and then grabbed her horse. She was ready to go, because she knew that she got mad to easy and would end up hurting someone and she did not need to kill a fellow varden. She handed him the reins to his horse and mounted her's.
"If I stay to long, someone may end up dead," She said to him as she turned to leave a arena.

The man laughed to his freinds and gestured towards Autumn muttering something, he made a movement with his hips and they roared with laughter. He heard Autumn speak but Elaniver ignored her, he felt the reins in his hand but simply let them fall back out of his hand. He heard her start to trot out of the area however he headed in the opposite direction, his eyes flashing as he strode towards the man who had just spat at them. His fists were clenched and shaking slightly in anger as he approached the man who suddenly started to look nervous at the large bulk coming towards him. Elaniver sped up his walk slightly, running a hand through his hair momentarily before breaking into a charge at the man. He seemed rooted to the spot as Elaniver pouded towards him. He jolted out of his shock however to get his guard up to block a punch thrown at his head. The punch his hand was trying to block however, never came, what came instead was Elaniver crashing shoulder first into the mans gut. Seding both of them tumbling to the floor.
Elaniver had had enough, he straddled the mans waist and began pounding his guard which was being weakened with every shot of Elaniver's that hit it. Soon the guard collapsed and Elaniver ingored style and simply grabbed the man by the hair, pulling him up slightly and continuing to pound his forehead with his other hand. Rough hands tried to wrench him off but he threw them off, still pounding every inch of the man he could reach. He felt the rough hands succeed in tugging him off and he continued to try and get to the man. A flock of warriors seperating him from the curled up ball of a man on the floor. He tried to get past unsuccessfully and so resorted to trying to punch his way through. Landing punches on the forehead of two men who recoiled and left the melee to nurse their wounds. Eventually the warriors hung onto his arms and took him to the floor where he stayed, on his knee's breathing heavily. Glaring at the man he had been pummeling who was now being helped away, pointing at him and shouting that he was a maniac.

She saw it go down, as if it was in slow motion. She had not wanted this, it made her want to yell. Her body trembled slightly as rage filled her but also fear at to what may happen to Elaniver is the Leader found out. She dismounted her stallion, calling over a young man to hold him while she went. As they pulled Elaniver off the man, she stood in front of Elaniver, eyes were hard, but yet soft for him in a way. She touched his face with her hand wanting him to look at her as she stood there.
"Let him speak the way he wants to speak of me, let him talk about me all he wants, I am use to such talk," Her voice was as soft as a lullaby as she spoke to him. Her ice blue eyes were soft on him, not even caring that the men around them were looking at her, some still shocked, but other watching Elaniver to see how he would act to her words. "Calm yourself, he is just scared because I can beat a man and possible him," Her sly smile took her lips as she looked into the black eyes of Elaniver.

Elaniver continued to glare at the mans rapidly retreating back, breathing heavily under the weight of the many men still hanging onto him. Cautious of him trying to break free and pursue the man. Elaniver's glare was punctured however when Autumn stepped in the way of his veiw of the retreating man. His glare seemed to melt at the touch of her hand on his face. His eyes jerked up to hers. The deep black clashing with the icy yet strangely soft blue. He heard her words and his muscles relaxed slowly. The men seemed to release him and they all took a step back, looking ready to pouince once more in case he tried to make a break for the man again.
"Maybe you are used to it." He said bluntly as his eyes looked straight into hers. "But if he does so again, it will take a lot more than a dozen men to drag me off of him." That was a promise to Elaniver, he didnt want the man being so openly offencive to Autumn, especially when she had just shown that she could quite easily beat a man.
