OOC::: If you want to close it we can.
She moved with ease on her horse as she thundered under the gates with Elaniver. She saw the arrows, her eyes watched with ease as she came to them. She liked this place, at least they did not complete ask what was going on. She moved with ease as they ran into the city. She slowed a little, but not until he slowed. She stayed with him, her sword hidden under her cloak. She was surprised they had made it so fast to this place. She expected a few days ride, she was not sure how far the place was, but she had not looked at a map. She looked around, she still felt wary, like she should watch her back. She checked her daggers, keeping her horse close to Elaniver's. She let her steel eyes harden, not wanting someone to see her emotions, but she knew that Elaniver would be able to read the caution that was in them.
"Wow," Even the capital of the empire was not this impressive, in fact, this held such greatness for the reason of the fact that it held more freedom then the great city of the empire. She felt her horse breathing hard and patted his shoulder, sweat coating her hand before she whipped her hand on her tight pants. She let her eyes fall over the faces that watched them come in and then resumed their doings.

Elaniver heard her exclamation and smiled slightly as the faces lowered once more back to their duties. Civilians bustling around the Varden soldiers as they drilled and carried materials for the campaign round in a seemingly random order. He rode on with Autumn, heading for the centre of the city where Nasuada’s tent was, he knew that he would be lucky to get an appointment but he also knew that he had been told to report back to her before his time limit expired ad he had no intention of simply sending her a message. He continued to ride, looking for a tent slightly bigger than the rest of them and of course with several guards outside it. Trying his hardest to remember exactly where the blasted tent was in the sea of buildings and workshops.
They eventually found the tent, Elaniver feeling rather sheepish as they had already passed the spot once before and had simply looked the wrong way, towards an armoury instead of the large tent with 6 guards positioned outside it. He dismounted and approached one of them who were quickly blotted out by a large Kull, the creature glared down at Elaniver who despite his immense bulk still wasn’t as big as the monster before him. Elaniver didn’t have much against the urgals, he merely thought them to be a particularly nasty species who relished an opportunity for war and suffering. He looked up at it calmly his hand fingering his war hammer absent mindedly as he said very calmly. “I have been told to report back to lady Nasuada. I thought I would come in person. It is Elaniver Addrodoc.” A Dwarf disappeared inside the tent and Elaniver waited, still staring up into the urgals eyes.

She had searched, but did not know what to look for. Her blond hair was a little messy from the ride and from a little more then the ride, she had yet to fix it, but she was not going to met the woman anyway. She knew she would have possible explain why he had not met the person, but she knew that she was ready to such a thing. She held his horse as he walked up to the beast and held back a remark that was deep in her throat, but she just kept her face as calm as possible and even nodded to all the guards, including the Kulls.
She looked around, people looked at her because they did not know her, but as she thought about it, they would need a place to stay for the night. She took in a breath, which was calming and relaxing.

The Dwarven guard emerged from the folds of the tent and nodded to him, the other guards opening up a path for him to enter. He glanced back at utumn for a moment as he noticed one of the humans staring at her and instead of walking down the path presented to him he simply walked through the human guard, shouldering him out of the way and glancing at him threateningly before dissapearing into the cavourness tent.
He raised his head as he entered and looked around to try and spot lady Nasuada. He spotted the woman who had taken him into the varden when he was 15 and allowed him to join the other warriors, he hadnt really spoken to her in a very long time as he was too busy speaking to her generals and commanders. But he still felt that there was something there, like a freindship, a sort of understanding for the boy she had seen so many years ago. "Lady Nasuada." He said with a bow to the woman who turned to face him from a large desk of papers and maps. She smiled and nodded saying, "greetings Elaniver, i trust the mission went well?" Elaniver approached her, keeping some of the formality but not bthering too much about it, he never really kept much formality with any of his commanders. Just when it was necessary. "I'm sorry my lady but i bring bad tidings on that front. Me and a partner were forced to abandon the city, we were chased out and pursued for sometime until i lost them in the Spine my lady." He kept his gaze on her despite the urge for his eyes to wander around the extravogant tent.
She looked around, a look of dissapointment and concern on her face. "I had word of your injuries, is this how you got them? I sent one of my physicions to help." Elaniver nodded, slightly ashamed at the look of dissapointment, he never liked to let people down if it could have been avoided. Unfortunately, Elaniver was of the beleif that one way or another he could tackle anything. "I never met with the leak, my lady. I doubt i can go back for another try without guards recognising me." She looked slightly exasperatedly at him, "are you sure?" She said. "Well i would remember the face of a man i had been chasing across a plain for a day m'lady." Elaniver replied. She nodded and looked suddenly curious, "whos is this partner you spoke of?" Elaniver's mouth dried up slightly at this question, he had hoped that no mention of this would have to be discussed but it was clearly not to be. "Her name is Autumn my lady, she is waiting outside for me." Nasuada nodded and called out to one of her guards. "Please allow entry to miss Autumn!"

She stood outside holding the reins of the horse as she stood sat on her own horse. She was about ready to head to sleep, she wanted a nice bed where she could get some rest, of course, an extra body next to her would not be a very bad thing either. She set there and fixed her hair some before she saw some come from the tent and say they wanted her in the tent. She felt nervous all at once and with some unneeded help, got off her stallion and gave the reins to a young man, she trusted children more then soldiers. She walked past the guards and looked at Elaniver, her face a bit pale from shock, but other wise, she kept it readless as best she could. Her eyes were on Elaniver and then on the leader for the Varden.
"You called M'Lady," She knew how to be nice to a leader, it was something she had gotten use to in the town her father and herself had lived in. They were good friends to the lord their, until she was forced to do a job without the aid or support of her father. She looked at the lady and then looked at Elaniver. Nervous.

Elaniver heard Autumn enter through the tent flap and heard her voice as well but he didnt look at her. He kept his eyes firmly fixed on Lady Nasuada, wondering exactly what she would ask Autumn about. He wondered f it was concerning the nature of their departure or his performance during the departure or what but whatever it was he hoped above all that Autumn would give the right answers simply to stay out of trouble. She was a guest of the Varden after all. "Yes i did." The woman before him said after Autun had entered the tent. "I would like to know, why you had to leave the city and your relationship with Elaniver here."
Elaniver thought that at the end of the day it could have been much worse, although there was still the matter of why they had to leave. Elaniver didnt think that Nasuada would take too kindly to the varden's buisness being interferred with and corrupted by a guest of theirs. He hoped that she would be fine with it, but he knew that the chances of simply letting it slide were fairly slim. Unless of course there was a good reason for killing the guard, which he was sure there was as Autumn didnt seemed like the sort to onl kill out of necessety.

Autumn had a firm feeling that the question was the one she was going to ask before she even asked it. She glanced at Elaniver and then with firm eyes, looked at the woman and nodded, not fearing punishment for something that might have cost the varden. She knew that it was possibly her fault in the first place. She took in a breath, preparing to tell the tale of the reason she was in Teirm.
"I was traveling to Teirm to gain some more supplies and to catch a ship south so I could come into Surda... I was traveling when I came across a man who was traveling back to Narda and was from the Varden. I stayed with him during the night and after telling him I going to Surda, he gave me a map that gave me information to get to the Varden. I swore to him once I made it Teirm I would destroy it to keep the Empire from getting a hold of it if I was captured," She knew the story would be long, but it would soon be over, if she kept her fact straight. "The next day, after travel I made camp not far from the rode, to wary to head deeper into the forest to keep others from coming onto my camp. As I looked at the map I heard a rustle in the bushes so I moved into the bushes myself and came behind a empire soldier. I confirmed that he had seen the map and I killed him to keep the map or information being discovered. The next day I arrived at Teirm and from there went to the inn where I had met Elaniver. I spoke with him, and found that he was with the Varden when I told him I was heading that way. I do not know how the Empire found me or how they knew of me, but after we went up stairs to talk more about what we might do since we had agreed to travel together back south when he was finished with business, I checked the windows and at that time, soldiers pointed to us. M'Lady, I do not know how that knew us, but I know who they were after and we got out of Teirm." She knew the next question would have to be answered and she was not going to lie about it. "After we fled, we stopped to mend our wounds, rather his, because at the time I had yet to be harmed. We were allowing the horses to rest while we stayed off the roads long enough to throw the soldiers. M'Lady, I will not lie, over the past few hours we had met, Elaniver and myself became attracted to each other, which might have clouded some of our judgment while were fleeing. As we waited to head back out, we were surprised by an attack, resulting in him getting a arrow in his back and calf. I was able to fight until we were on horse back and one of the soldiers caught me with something that result in a large wound that almost caused me to loss my life. After that night I do not know what happened, for I ended up knocked out the rest of the travel and awoke before we made it to Surda and then received care from the Dauth healers. We also received shelter from a woman named Catlin of the town along with board for our horses." Now was the next part of the question. "Our relationship is... more then friends, M'Lady."
She had told her story and gave everything. She did her best to recount everything. She hoped it would be enough for the woman, and hoped that she would not grow angry with her, for even behind her guarded eyes, Elaniver would be able to see worry. He was the only one who would be able to read it.

Elaniver listened to Autumn’s recount as he himself didn’t know the reason for why she had killed the soldier. He himself was perfectly satisfied at the explanation and he couldn’t really see how anyone else couldn’t be. A map to the Varden’s location was a little more important than a leak that could easily be recovered. He didn’t look at her throughout the story; he simply looked at Lady Nasuada, looking out for any sort of reaction that would tell tale signs of emotion or decision. He didn’t catch any however; she appeared blank and impartial as she listened to the explanation.
She nodded once and said simply, “very well then. I am satisfied with your reasoning I only ask that you be more careful next time. Such information is very important to the safety of the Varden.” She turned away from them and picked up one of the many pieces of paper that lay spread across the desk behind her. She threw it back down casually, a slightly tired look in her eyes for a moment before it being extinguished with the usual official determination. “You may go, the both of you. Oh and Elaniver. Good to see that you have recovered.” He gave a very small smile that was almost undetectable then turned back to the desk and seemed to ignore them. Elaniver bowed without saying a word and momentarily wondered whether any of the real espionage people were available this time to take his place. He turned and let Autumn walk out first before following her out through the tent flap. He made a point to stare into the eyes of the human guard he had walked through on the way in. Making sure that he wasn’t the first to break eye contact before swinging himself up onto his horse and looking over to Autumn with a smile before trotting away from the tent down an alley way.

She nodded and gave a smile of thanks before she headed outside once she was dismissed. A few young men looked at her, for they were only a year older then her own age, which was 17 years old. She did not care how old she was, she was old enough to live on her own and she planned to do that. She glared at a young man, looking back at Elaniver followed her and took on to staring him down. She smiled at him and mounted her horse, waiting for him to mount before they headed deeper it seemed into the city.
"Your leader is kind Elaniver, I figured she would have scolded me, but even I was wrong," She honestly that thought that the woman would be made at her for allowing such a distraction to come over Elaniver when he had been needed to locate a man. "What will they do now, send another to find this man."

Elaniver looked over at her words, he would have called Lady Nasuada kind among other things, she was a good leader definitely, not for fighting ability or physical strength but for having the talents that a real leader needed such as tactical brilliance and an ability to see problems and work out the best possible route out as quickly as possible. Something that Elaniver held in very high esteem. “She is to have let me in at such a young age.” He replied simply, gazing down from his horse at the various workshops they were passing, smiths hammering away at lumps of red-hot molten metal into the vague shapes of blades as hey sweated away over their craft. Food stalls calling out to one another as deliveries of fresh livestock and fruit arrived to their stalls.
He looked over once more at her next question and nodded, “with any luck there will be an available spy this time. That was the only reason I was sent, they’re all off in Urubean and the other cities.” He considered how he had dealt with his first ever experience of espionage, it hadn’t really gone well. Not even started the meeting with the link and almost being killed as well as captured. Not in his opinion the best way to break into the business. Elaniver hoped that would be the last of his spy work and that he could get back to familiar ground. Hopefully being the lone warrior working on his own in a battle instead of going along with the crowd. But he rarely got that gift.

She nodded to his words and then looked around before she continued to follow him. Her cloak was in need of a repair, as she touched the bottom, which when she stood was down to her knees know, but it worked for the moment, but she wanted a new one, or the materials needed to make a new one that was foot length. She looked around and then looked ahead.
"So where do you go now, Elaniver?" She had never been to this city, she had a write to be completely unsure of what to do. She looked at him and then back up ahead, thinking of what she needed to do now. She was not sure what would happen now, she was unsure of the future. The men she had sent to her ranch still had a month before they got back to Duath, so she was not going to be in any rush to get back to the city of Duath.

Elaniver pondered what he had to do in the city at her question. He should really get back to the barracks at some point to just let them know that he hadn’t deserted. It was a harsh thing to have to do in his opinion; he had seen a captain wanting to charge their men with desertion even though all they wanted was to see their families again. Just because you were a soldier for the Varden, didn’t necessarily mean that they had nothing left to live for except the fall of the Empire. “I should get back to the barracks at some point. Maybe have a spar.” He said in a thoughtful voice as he allowed his mind to get lost in the fluidity of the bustling crowds of people, most of who were in armour. It was almost a hypnotic sight. Various colours and tints of armour, punctuated with the occasional dullness of an ordinary travelling cloak or goatskin.
He came out of his reverie for a moment and looked over to her with a smile. “I’m sorry about having to rip the cloak. I can get it fixed for you if you’d like?” In amongst the endless stalls for armour, weapons, livestock and food there were also hundreds of cotton merchants and tailors, all of whom were simply trying to make business however they could. Elaniver was sure that it was the same in the Empire. People trying to live by selling their stock to the highest bidder, which in most cases happened to be the Empire. One of them would be suitable to rebuild Autumn’s cloak, he didn’t know how important it was to her however and so did also consider simply buying her a new one. Being a warrior of the Varden did seem to pay off in some ways that is if you got the prestige of fighting that some had you could get some privileges.

She looked at him, over the crowd, thinking what the men would think about a woman sparing with them. She liked the idea and had to give a sly smile before she continued to watch the people slink on by her in order to go and do there business. She kept her stallion close to the large war horse, even though her horse was a large frisian, he was still slightly smaller. She looked over the faces of women, men, and even children in this place. She let out a sigh and then continued forward.
She looked at him, he had mentioned her cloak, and she had almost forgotten to be looking for the material. She saw his apologetic face and gave a kind smile.
"I can get the material and fix it, this cloak has been with me since my mother pasted, I do not plan on letting someone else fix it, for fear they may go and get me a new one because they may believe it will not fix," She had watch it be done, how they would tell the people they would fix it and then went out, bought a new one for cheap and sold it back to the people for twice as much. She hated when people did that and she did not plan on being on that list.

Elaniver smiled and nodded at her answer, glad that he hadn’t done anything permanent but feeling a slight pang of guilt that it was her mothers. Still, at least she seemed to be ok with it and in Elaniver’s personal opinion the fact that it went towards saving her life was a little more important than the fact that it had been her mothers anyway. “Ok then,” he said, looking around to spot the looming layer of slightly longer tents that indicated the mess hall of the barracks. They were basically a mixture of regular buildings and tents. Just a small make shift separate town in the centre of the capital, filled with soldiers of all kinds as well as the main sparring ring with several others.
Elaniver gave a small smile, he enjoyed sparring. Partially because he knew that he was good at it but mostly because it gave him a chance to relieve some stress and let other men test out there toughness on him at the same time. He had always thrived on competition and the thrill of the moment. He rode a little faster; trusting Autumn to keep up as he rocketed through the tents that belonged to those of the Varden soldiers and straight towards the sparring area, keen to get some exercise after waking up. Keen to get back into action after his brief spell unconscious. He dismounted and immediately looked around for someone to challenge whilst equally hoping that someone would challenge him. He was keen to find someone who wasn’t just here to watch, but also to fight. He didn’t mind the watchers, but if they didn’t pay enough to learn anything then declined challenges then Elaniver couldn’t really see much point in them being there.

She moved quickly through the streets with him, her black frisian moving with perfection as she made it towards the place with him. A few soldiers looked up as they realized who it was riding with her. She did not know them, but she saw some wave at Elaniver and then continued to move with him. Once they were at the arena, she took off her own cloak, her tight tunic showing her small, but still toned body. Her pants were tight to her knees, just like normal. As she moved off the horse, everyone saw her two daggers and her sword. She tied her horse to a post and smiled up at Elaniver. She wondered if anyone would come and Spar with her, she wanted a chance to test herself out.
"I have to say, that we finally have a little more freedom," She said to him as she thought back to how little freedom a woman had in the empire. At least here a woman could do more then just take care of a family, of course, as she thought about it, she wanted nothing more then to do that.
